As an aside, I wonder what a fly on the wall would tell us about the comments FD make at the moans they see in these threads...probably hilarious! :)
 
They have stated previously that they shouldn't stack as they do, so that seems generally what they are referring to?
Lets face it, they are not balanced. prior to this patch.
I really hope this is the case. When you have a Viper III & a cobra IV that can cook and destroy 75% of the internals on a heavily modded, pvp spec'd corvette, in about 30 seconds or less, without even budging the shields and launching multiple heatsinks to counter does nothing to help...feels like a whole lotta grind for nothing...
 
So... no mention about these 00:00 mission bonus timers and no fix for AI not shooting back occasionally? Or were these issues part of other bugs fixed in this patch?

The changes we have made are to reduce the amount of heat damage from thermal cascade, and in addition, increase the diminishing returns for all heat delivery via weapons (including Thermal Shock and Thermal Cascade), which results in a lower top end cap but that should have negligible effects unless thermal weapons are being used en masse.

The goal of these changes is take the edge off mass heat weapon load outs, without ruining thermal as an effective tool.
 
It's already there, class and something else near the bottom of the list when your controller is connected, after choosing the one that you have on xbox then you can customize the buttons to match what you had, it's really nice to be honest, not having to learn two different sets of controls, just unplug controller from 1 device and plug it into the other with the same controls :D

A major improvement to the Engineers grind, but where's the planet scanner to find materials?

Good news! The patch is here, I can get back to hunting to resources on planets.

Bad news :( Tomorrow's newsletter will probably just be "2.1.05 released!"

Good news! Next week's news letter could well have some 2.2 news :)
