I don't know what the difference in processing is between your image and the one on the first page, but there are darker areas in the two left quadrants which suggest its not just glow. It also looks a bit big compared to the glow on the ends of other lines.

Your observation represents our problem very well indeed.
It's a very crude and inaccurate method rendering images this way. Which illustrates the point I'm trying to make.
- Be careful what you interpret based on someone renderings.
We don't know the parameters required for rendering it picture perfectly, and all current renderings are based on assumptions.

Eggshapes, ovals, circles, with background noise, without background noise - all depends on the parameters being applied in the proprietary software Audacity.

The thing is, even if he is right and he has saw them himself, just saying that he has without providing evidence is a bit like seeing a "SALE NOW ON SAVE SAVE SAVE" sign, going and buying stuff at normal price. Nothing new to see, move along, move along.

he said do your home work guys and go solve it he doesnt have to provide evidence he gave a tip, you dont give someone a tip then give proof it doesnt work like that lol your option is to prove or disprove his tip:D

Reps for Davanix, XCYBER, and Dr. Phibes. I think we're onto something here. Famous ancient monolith in Ireland that happens to look just like the UP symbol - check. Stones with depiction of Pleiades - check. Cheeky devs - check.

Need to science. Will post soon. It's all coming together! Haha! Hahahaha! HAHAHAHAHAHA!

help

Thanks for reading Im currently researching this right now. Few bits more that have links to this including a maybe match to our barny logo......but il have to go and see for myself tomorrow in newgrange as the images i have are terrible.

Also that VV in the image to the right of the one the up gave us is also on the big sundial stone although it isnt actually part of it but more like a part of the stone itself much like the image shows it but doesnt emphasize it

Eek, that may come out all wrong. But it felt good to really explain my thoughts on it. Hopefully I'm not alone in thinking this. If I am.. well I'll have another biscuit and dunk it in my tea.

You don't know how much I miss Rich Tea biscuits. You just can't get them here.

Then maybe it's a good idea to test the two new UP's mentioned before, perhaps they deliver a clearer image now something has changed with the latest patch. Or honk them together.......
Maybe I'm being daft here but imho this could be quite importand.

This is what's mentioned in the patch notes, whatever it means.

Audio
- Fixed bug where planetary music suite didn't play when approaching from supercruise
- Reduced the timing interval on the probe to bring the total transmission down to just over 6 mins
- Small volume boost on flight controllers and radio chatter.

All claims need to pass the Brass Monkey test.

When subjected to the heat of close inspection and the cold light of day, do the claims hold up or are they just balls!
We don't want to be firing blanks or any other mixed Canonn metaphors!?

It's late, I'll get my coat.

In that stream he talks about it as if they are as common as muck to find. If that's the case where are all these clues - the tip off missions only seem to lead to human craft in various bits. Perhaps there is a way to work out co-ordinates of another system by doing something fancy with all the tip off mission clues or locations, I have no idea - not that I haven't thought about it, I have - but I can't get any sort of coherent hypothesis together to back up his claims either. Someone else may, but no one as of yet has.

Yep. Just the same thing I blabber about when I talk to you guys on stream - we're just tossing ideas.
And keeping the audience interested.

i believe you have misunderstood again, when you say they are as common as muck to find ,are you talking about UPs coz coz this convo wasnt about finding UPs lol

The only thing I'll say Z is to be fair Kerrash is the official community streamer, he doesn't need to get more viewers :D

True.

Doesn't mean his streams are reliable though. Just means he has the most viewers.

Also doesn't mean his guests talk any more sense than the guy I met the other day in town, who told me to go and befriend a marmot by presenting it with a collection of Cliff Richard records and some cheap gin.

So I tried. And I got mugged - by the marmot - because the gin 'wasn't drinkable', apparently.

I mean: the *insult* of it. It was Asda 'farm foods' gin too.

Posted this before..

Illl do it agian since we are back to basic.

"just a thought"

The image is indeed the navigation ball next to the radar in every cockpit.

Select Merope 5C. Make sure its in the center of the nav ball. Now picture your self that line you see in the UP image. The diagonal one. Then pitch and yaw your ship so the "dot" (merope) moves over that fictional line till it reached the edge of the Nav ball.

What system/planet/nebula do you see now in the center of your canopy glass? That is the system/planet/nebula we need to turn inside out.

(the only thing we need to figure out now, is form what direction we need to target M5C?

you do realize that if Kerassh was right, has seen the crashed ships IN GAME in 2.1 there would already be pictures of said ships pulled straight from the game files right ?
