A few interesting things to focus on;

...while it is very likely that it only refers to the other 'They's that I have otherwise Italicised. It is possible, however, that it is a secondary 'They'. Meaning the singing of the probes draws another 'They' to your location.

I generally agree, but from the wording I find the second "they" is more likely to mean something/someone else (not the artifacts).
If it were the artifacts in what way would they find you (they are in the station's cargo hold)? It couldn't be a physical form of finding you, it would have to be some other form like spiritual /psi or signal based (like Jaque is an Android).

Sticking with the for now less coplicated interpretation it is a physical "find" and then it would be someone/something else that finds you.

Ok so I cleared my mind if everything I thought before and asked myself this question. Not thinking of any other part of the image, just breaking it down to that one part. May not be the best approach but hey its something I can do.

First thing I think of with 2 "spikes" is a barnacle. Yes they have more than two all up but they only ever have two ripe ones. So what if the spikes in the image represent a barnacle?

Here's another idea: How about we think in terms of 'who has had the most apparently promising ideas so far'. I'd vote Rizal72, yourself, Colonel Kenney (yes, I mean it ) a few others. Can we have a quick vote? Then I suggest you all closet yourselves in a second thread and have at it. With Mr B having apparently said that we have been 'close' a few times before wandering off down yet another rabbit hole, it seems to me that at this point the worst thing any of us can do is keep trying to use this thread as the central sounding-board for theories. I would suggest you go and set up a Discord (no, not the Canonn one), which is easy and free, and merely report back here as you come up with stuff - if at all, but this was nay-sayed on another occasion for 'reasons'. I honestly don't believe we have much chance at this point in time purely because the thread is so fragmentary in its nature. Good ideas get missed, bad ideas get over-worked, and like that.
New perspectives are what's needed. New perspectives but with an eye on 'what we know' or at least think we know to date.
Anyway, if anybody wants me, I shall be 'Sothis-ing' for a bit. After which I'm going a-wandering again.

Gliese 1269 is the system Jaques started from, I went there the other day and there was plenty of npc traffic but no stations or anything. I didn't have a really good look around but I plan on going back there with some UA to see if anything stands out.

You make a solid point with Jaques, what he says cam be interpreted many ways. I first thought both "they"s were referring to the UA, but it could just as likely be the probes or the architects/creators/thargoids.

I'm still waiting for my UA's to sing, or at least to yell at me "stop honking that damn horn in my face!"

I'll be doing some research there with my UA's. I'll report the effects here in few hours.

Not sure how to connect it, but the arch markings in the top-right of spectogram reminded me of gravity well marking on the HUD...

Posted the same thing a little while ago, not sure how I feel about it still. All of the markings can be found on our radar display so I thought maybe if everything was lined up in a certain way it would point us in the right direction but I couldn't work it out exactly. I thought even of overlapping the quadrants and seeing if together they make a clear position but I dont have the tools and also I hesitate to start chopping and changing the image provided. If we start doing that we can just change it all to mean whatever we want rather than see the actual message. Unless there are some kind of instructions that specifically say to do it in the message of course ie. "read it this way" like playback instructions on voyager golden record.

So... we need to find out where the lines point seen from Merope? (Reverse direction)

I'd really thank if WE stop quoting Kerrash with just pure tinfoil. We ask everyone to prove stuff, Kerrash hype is not helping. If I wanted to know his opinion I'd be looking his streams. Only personal opinions/theories or facts here, please.

It's hard for me to agree with you when we know that Kerrash does actually have MUCH more knowledge on what the solution is than the rest of us and that he does drop the occasional hint from time to time.

If it were a random streamer/youtuber I wouldn't have mentioned it but Kerrash is a reliable source of potential hints, as long as you don't listen to everything he says as gospel.

we did get this image using sound transform it in a spectrogram, image this means they communicate with ultrasound like whales, dolphins or bats

maybe we need to use software wat they use for making echo's in the hospital for three dimensional images

Okay firstly I disagree completely with your definition of Evangelism but that is a different discussion I won't go into.

Secondly, much of this topic is discussing thoughts, ideas and breakthroughs that were not posted first in this topic itself. I do not see the problem with pulling in comments of others in the Elite community, especially when it is exactly this mystery and exactly the people exploring it that he is talking to on his stream at that moment.

i think ignoring someone like kerrash is pretty stupid and arrogant the guy knows stuff about the game that we dont, im not having a go at you or anything but its always a good idea to dig through the comments guys like kerrash say on this thread

I haven't taken it as truth at all. I have said ''Kerrash has said these words, maybe they help point us in the right direction.''

As for ''no science involved'', he is the closest to an expert witness that the community currently has. Ignoring somebody as in-the-know as him in any other facet of life would be a stupid thing to do, so I am not going to ignore him here either.

I think with people starting to beat each other up here regarding 4 or 5th-party-hints, and no real breakthrough regarding the main puzzle, I say I´ll put this whole thing aside - I don´t know how many thousands of working hours we have spend trying to solve it... but it´s too much.

Yeah but in the same way that the UP never used to react to honks and now it does, past behaviour does not prove future behaviour. It's always worth seeing what he says, even if it leads to nothing
