Guys Kerrash said ship launched fighters are already in the game!!... I'm heading to every station in the bubble to look for them in outfitting!!
But yea, I agree.. Pics or it didn't happen applies to all I'm afraid
they are: in stations and in capital ships if you haven't noticed, they are in there since 2.0 id say, but only NPCs can use them for now.

Oh I agree with that but I refuse to think that such a sentiment then means people are not allowed to share comments from elsewhere. This is a forum for community ideas and thoughts. They don't all have to be right, or immediately provable, they just have to give us something to think about, and then accepted or rejected as such.

we are all allowed to theorise and provide our opinions and comments, that is not what I said.
Saying we all have to go to Merope because of kerrash is not right. hear a comment, postulate a theory and then saying it openly is science. Following a lead because a source is trusted is not enough.
the last comment from kerrash lead to confusion as wether this UP mistery leaded to an alien crash site and half the forum started looking for them..
the reason why I stopped watching his stream is because I found that a real spoiler: "crashed alien ships" without a picture, and no one has found it yet. last thing I'd like to see is now people re-streaming spoilers here.

I found it interesting if i transcribe the pulses in the UP audio to binary I get what looks like random numbers, then swap them to alpha numeric and get random letters, so put them in a cryptogram solver and one of the top results was barnard.
the tinfoil in me wants to say i have something here, none of the pulses go over binary 26 and when converted from numeric to alpha it gives a code that can clearly translate to BARNARD.
in 6 min 20 sec i get 7 sets of pulses between the loud singing of the UP. Translated as high pitch=1 low pitch=0
I also sped the audio up 3x so it was easier to distinguish a low and high pitch. I used the 10 min audio of the UP on merope 5c.

10110 = 22 = v
set 2
10011 = 19 = s
set 3
0110 = 6 = f
set 4
1001 = 9 = i
set 5
10011 = 19 = s
set 6
0110 = 6 = f
set 7
1010 = 10 = j
there are 2 repeated strings in there 19 - 6, 19 - 6 so this is smelling fishy , So i take the numbers and turn them into letters since by coincidence they are all under 26 (letters in english alphabet) and binary counts to 256.
that gives me VSFISFJ a simple cryptogram with a repeating set in it.just reverse engineer the simple puzzle.

this is coming together way too easy to be a screwup I need someone else to look at this.

Bringing new ideas and external commentary is one thing.
Expecting immediate acceptance of that idea because it came out a particular persons mouth is just daft.

Either way, my point is you are right. We shouldn't just go somewhere because somebody suggested it without proof. But we shouldn't avoid it either, because frankly it's as good an idea as anyone else has come up with lately.
ALL we have is a sound that gives us an image. The image has not been decoded. Anything that speculates beyond that, anything at all, is just as good as saying ''go to Merope''. So why go anywhere until the image is solved?

It's working with dictionaries and obviously only tries to find words with the same letter placement.

Ah, now I get it where BARNARD comes from... it's the second result. But it's alphabetical order so that doesn't mean a thing.
But with lot's of things pointing to Barnard's Loop and the Permit systems there why don't we go there with some UAs and UPs and do some tests?
Its a shame he did not say which cmdrs had come close. But then again no naming and shaming on this forum.

Yes I used Rumkin, the puzzle is a cryptogram its a simple letter replacement puzzle.
Yes there is more than one possibility but in relevence to Elite Barnard is a definate hit.
