Morning, Commanders!

How are we all doing?

My current personal mission to contact Palin has come to a halt, as it seems I am not receiving the Sirius permit despite being allied with Sirius Corporation. I heard this was a known bug but is there a known solution?

I'll head up there and check shortly. I've been working out of Saker's Enterprise to gain rep with them but ever since I hit 'allied' they seem to have NO missions for me here anymore. Thank you for the tip.

You've docked in a sirius controlled station right? Still nothing coming up in the mission board?

Contrary to the "picture" in the audio, there is also |-| and ||-, which are not present in it.
Also, there are no --- nor ||| which is a feature similar to the first UA transmissions IIRC.

Before I go : I Wonder if the picture hidden in the audio is something similar to the circle frame from
the golden record as in : if decoded properly as per instructions, the first image is this.

Good work, but not mush to get from this.

Interesting features:

--l --l --l either 1 1 1 or 6 6 6 (if we say they are binary octals). Could be a set of start characters?

-l- -ll --l l-- (2 3 1 4), which is one revolution on our circle (starting top left, clockwise).

Nothing more, I think.

My Korean cousin Kun Zhen, tipped me about it. Tons of tinfoil in there. Octagons, seasons, directions, mother/father/daughters and colours.

To gain access to Palin and the CRCR I decided to go on the 5kLy stint instead. Currently 1.5kLy in, resting in an OB association in Scorpio.

Has the UP and UA been taken to the BOVOMIT and PRAEI1-6 regions? I'd like to cart both around the galaxy once I have a CRCR.

Hmmm, that gives me an idea, maybe I should take them both to the remaining pulsars listed on the Golden Record? I've located 7 of the 14.

ok guys for any of you that believe your theories are being ignored or trashed this is the reason the above michael brookes quote
when asked 4 or 5 days ago if any of the current theories were on the right path so to speak,since then ppl that havnt read all the thread would of missed this
but many of us have been here from the start and seeing more and more theories pop up knowing the answer is most likely hidden in earlier parts of the thread and new theories just makes it more complicated instead of working with what we had,so please guys please take note of the front page before adding theories and askin "has this been done yet" its all there to be looked at if you see a theory that interests you feel free to explore it more and not make this mystery any more complicated, thanks good luck cmdrs :D

Also meant to ask, since I've saw references to it before, but don't know myself, some players are saying if you do the 5000ly trip it means you can get access a different way? I ask as I did that first before anything else and didn't notice any invites. Not that it matters now though.

If you turn the UP image symbols into hexagrams, the circular method gives [-l- -ll] "Articulating" (Can also mean limiting), and [--l l--] "Exceeding Small" as in surpasing small, going beyond small. Infinitesimal?

Taking the top pair and bottom pair as hexagrams gives [-l- -ll] "Articulating"/"Limiting" and [|-- --|] "Swallowing"/"Jaws"

Is it possible that the UP could be an engineered addition to our sensors? As in it is an overlay of what we are looking at out in the cosmos? Maybe if we point our sensors at the right system, nebula, galaxy, or some cosmic entity while scanning the UP, something will show up on the Probe's EM spectrum.

Also, since it would be base 60 for the spectogram then 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41, 43, 47, 53, 59 become the relevant primes.


Thinking about the Newgrange calendar it's possible to end up with some easy repeating primes and possible hints of a message embedded through that; or at least a hint toward intent.
- I'm no longer convinced the radial image is going to lead to anything more | possibly because we already solved it
- Just posting this in case someone's already been down this line of thinking



Also to the musical questions:

How do we produce a note deliberately? What instruments - modules, etc - can do this? I haven't read anyone mentioning that.
