Just humour me for a sec guys...
What if what we are looking for is a "Mobile" platform on Merope 5C? Like a giant SRV? How would that change your outlook on the image? Something that's looking for something on the surface?

As I stated before, the POI may have shifted, as it did after I was forced to restart. Would be wise to move out from the area in concentric circles above 2.5 kilometers until one resolves itself. If nothing occurs for you, I will try the area at the same time tonight. It could be time-based, that is, if it can only be seen when the crater is in darkness. Yes it is Merope 5c. I have video of the POI but was unable to upload in time before work. It was at the bottom of one of the deep craters within the megacrater.I'm sitting here at your stated coordinates now. Saw nothing on ship's scanner on way in, and nothing on the SRV scanner now either. Nothing in particular on Mark 1 Eyeballs either. Coordinates are for Merope 5 C, right?
Anything in particular we should be looking for?
That would make those aliens the most complex and stupid of technological races ever existed in the multiverse.
I am probably saying something that has been said many times before, but then I must have missed it and it is probably at the top of the first page.
If the purrs are rendered as horizontal/vertical bars, it is more obvious that they can be thought of as encoding a ternary signal: the number of horizontal dashes between vertical bars being the digits:
l l - - l l - - l - - l - - l l - - l - l l - - l - - l - l l - - l l - l - - l l - - l l - l - - l - l - l l

Can you fit two Advanced Discovery Scanners to one ship? If so how many can you honk at once?
They are doing a live test theory right now on EDUCATING ED
I knew you had said it shifts, but I wouldn't have thought it could shift so far as to leave scanner range. It sounds like a bug I encountered with the capship over Merope 2 A that had no ship at its POI, and the POI kept moving away from me. It was kind of funny, actually.
