well.. this is what happens:
- people interested in the rift mystery will miss rift's post here.
- people in the rift and this thread, reads the same people posting in both, sometimes the same thing, sometimes you have to stitch posts from both threads to know what is going on.
- but what is worse, people (new people) coming here will get confused and soon we will see posts about looking forfree floating UPs in EAFOTS systems, and looking for convoys in Tionisla, asking whether we honked the UP in the graveyard or why UA are not pointing to raxxla.
- keeping rift's post where they belong will have no impact in our noise ratio.
but hey, I'm just saying

How are "we" so sure this isn't connected? Maybe everything is a fragment of a greater puzzle.
I don't think Merope is the answer for all this. Maybe one key in a big key ring. Why the up image isn't our ship hud? Maybe the simplest we keep the best.
We can think in role play or in meta. And I think the solution is really metagame, but with some background research ingame. Like the lore and that kind of stuff.
The game give us the clues, but we need to think as a man-made puzzle to understand it. Not as an alien society witch we haven't tecnology to understand.

Haha! They put my spacehopper pic on there at the end
avidemux , load the video, choose the audio output on the left part(mp3) ,open the audio bar (the top onewhere is the file -recent and etc..) / save audio.. then you have only audio
Do you know if any of them have a shipyard and/or outfitting?
Audacity will do that - does spectograms too
