Galnet player bounty-board UI concept

Despite not killing players often, I would make it my whole goal in this game to top the bounty boards. It would actually be fun killing space police for months at a time in order to top the GalNet distributed Bounty boards.... Oh man, please implement this F:dev!

You think you could wrench that title from my grasp! Ha!

Love this idea. If possible adding the location on galaxy map when connected in open. Like for the renegate in Tom Clancy The Division, you can add a timer on the location(depent of the score crime)

Awesome idea but unfortunately completely impossible to add in-game with the current situation about combat logging.

OK , but why not to do anything because of cheating? I think the idea is excellent, the combat logging should be sanctionned with extremes penalties from Frontier. Many MMO banish players who cheat, why Frontier not? I think there is no solution for the combat logging ingame.

Players who combat log should get a credit penalty and show the amount of combat logs in their in-game profile.

Not sure where you are from, but i think it was the UK that trialled speed cameras which also displayed your speed as they passed. Some people treated this as a game, and tried to get the highest "scores" possible as they passed the signs. Please FD, do not incentivise combat logging with such a mechanism!

I'd rather have a system that discourages players from killing other CMDRs. Also, if the bounty rewards get high enough, what is to stop a mass murdering CMDR from letting a Friend claim the bounty on them to get the reward? The wanted CMDR then drops off of the wanted list and can go about Murdering again without being targeted.

Instead of Credits, the reward for killing a wanted CMDR should be pure reputation and maybe there should be a corresponding leader board for best Bounty Hunter in the galaxy. If a BH dies from a wanted CMDR, they should drop from the leader board just like a wanted CMDR would drop by death from a BH.

Nobody would do anything then - there's no tangible reward. Money makes the world go 'round - I wouldn't be a pirate if it weren't for the dough, and I'm sure bounty hunters feel the same.

But we already have a bounty system in the game that rewards a player for killing other commanders, as long as they are wanted or an enemy... Also, nobody will farm bounties for the purpose of exploiting if it is a time-sink. The only reason players did it before was because back in pre-1.3 it was a much quicker method of gaining credits than trading or RES farming. If I was the most wanted player in the Federation, there's no way I'd let my friend claim the bounty as all my hard work would be lost.
