"Premium" Beta and Lifetime Updates query

Hey all,

I've noticed in the recent communications that they keep mentioning the "Premium Beta" alongside "Lifetime Expansion packs". However, my package - the £90 level - does not include Premium Beta, just beta, yet it DOES show "any expansions". This is why I chose this level, it was a little over my budget, but the attraction of "any expansions" (£80 or more level) added to the "Collectors Premium Boxed Edition" swayed me.

From what I can see, all the £100 pledge level adds over the £90 pledge level I chose is the Premium beta, rather than just the Beta - no mention of Expansions/DLC as that's given already at a lower pledge level.

As each pledge level states "This includes all the rewards above" I'd like some clarification please.

Note: I am looking forward to the normal Beta, needless to say :)

Have you tried buying the Premium Beta to see whether it discounts it by £90?
I read a thread about something similar.

Nope, should I?

I know there were issues early on where pledge levels were a bit screwed up, but that was fixed ages ago.

I don't really log on much at all - hardly ever unfortunately - so I've not checked my account in some time...maybe I should...

Still, it was certain £90 taken from me at the time, and, checking on KickStarter, that level is correct for all expansions.

Edit: Ok, just checked my account, and listed under my rewards is:

Digital Download Pack. This includes a single digital download of the game, any expansions and 500 credits when starting a new game.

As well as, above that:

DRM-free collector's premium boxed edition of "Elite: Dangerous". Includes a T shirt with "I backed Elite: Dangerous" on the back, an A3 Star Map and a paperback copy of the official sequel to "The Dark Wheel".

Which is the extra added by the £90 level in effect.

In the kickstarter, and the former store, a commitment to £ 100 included all the rewards of lower ranks. In the new store, £ 100 gives you the premium beta, beta standard, the retail version and extensions. And that's all. If you upgrade, normally, you only pay £ 10 and you keep all your awards of kickstarter, of course

I think something wrong and weird is goin today with the shop, friend cannot upgrade from 70 pounds (game plus expansions) up to premium beta for 30, it says it wants 100 ...
Idk maybie its lag ?

You're a backer of Kickstarter. You keep all of your rewards (box collection, expansions etc ...). No problem

Cool, thanks, I was a little confused.

I could possibly upgrade to Premium Beta now if I only pay the difference, so £10. However, knowing my luck, doing that will then eliminate any free-time I might have to pla...erm, aid Beta testing :)
