If you look really really closely.....you'll see that they're pointing at Merope 5c...
Aye 4k, then switch to solo to be able to use alt-f10 for the res doubled(?) screenshot. The BMP from that was 387MB!!
It's a bit silly really to be honest and mobile users are gonna be cursing me but the odd super high res shot is nice I think.
I normally play in 1080p though, I mean 4k is awesome, especially on planets but the framerates....
Cheers for that. I never realized Elite had a built in screenshot function. I've been using Steam screenshots this whole time.

Was trying to squeeze down the length to make it more punchy & fit completely into the bookmarks list- you don't need the extra spaces , "more" or "the"
a double exclamation mark might be better (i.e. implicit threat!!)

I was also thinking of the google index factor - reduce the noise words to increase relevance in search results
Can't help it. It's (a small part) of what I do.
Could always try the unicorn preservation idea: 'Every time you ask a question that's answered on the first page, a unicorn is eviscerated'.

that image makes me want to kill........aliens.....and that image looks like some sort of "spawn" to me
im one of these strange types that hates "peppers being cut in half"...so that all those little seeds are on display....its like holding a red rag to a bull.
I don't like insects either and there alien faces..
those thargoids or whatever is coming this winter are dead meat.......they just don't realise it yet.
Is it just me, or does the probe feel like FD just got really lazy when making this... Fuels my suspicion that there is no real structure here and that they just make stuff up as we go. The feeling of, there is nothing to find since FD still haven't invented the next step springs to mind again.

It was confirmed a while back that the 'next step' is there for us.
OH right, well the gotcha with ED screenshots is F10 for SS, alt-F10 for double (or whatever) res. BUT the super high res will only work in solo mode.
This I think is due to the impact of the client "hanging" during the screenshot render and how that might cause issues with other players waiting on your network, so when pressing alt-f10 nowt happens unless in solo.

Genuine question of curiosity here but has anyone noticed a drop in availability of UAs in the bubble? A few months ago I was flying around just to have a look at a UA for myself and they seemed reasonably plentiful.

but nothing is turning up, at all. As I say I've found some a few months ago so I'm familiar with HOW to hunt for them but I am just not finding any.

Google EDSM, type /paste in the system name, if it's been submitted to EDSM (e.g. through EDD) the coordinates & other info is displayed, simples!
Space figs confirmed.
Not important to the 'Next Step' but exploring from Merope found wreckage with an anomalous fsd signal data thing. There's other fsd data scans i've seen. Unknown ship and all that but this one said anomalous, and the only time I see that word is related to weird things like the UAs and UPs. If you see encoded emissions out in the black its worth stopping by to see a little more of the story. Its possible a threat of some kind is already around and taking out our fellow NPC scientists. Or players... has anyone gone missing? When was the last roll call?
MB and team, any chance these scan messages or tip offs will offer a clue (or unfortunate result) to finding a UP? That would be an excellent, tease reward for exploring SSs out here! "Oh dear, I seemed to have crashed on this planet. But at least I found one of those probe things people were talking about. I'll send a message so everyone knows where I am and where I found it. P.S. The roses really are doing well, but the Black Spot struck due to the damp Spring so I told Long John Silver & his band of Space Pirates to sling their hook!

Expressing doubt in the extent of, structure of, development of, or implemented storyline of E: D on this thread is a crime punishable by 10 years in the Robigo mines, unless the great god MBCthulu doesn't strike you down first (possibly as well as!)
At the very least it might get you added to veteran's Ignore lists.
