There is no Morse in UP transmission for sure?
Dumb question - and I know its probably been asked but I don't see an answer.
Has anyone tries to unlock Polaris with a UP? Or Unveil something there? Someone has supercruised to it before.
this is a testable theory because you can try it from anywhere.... just select Polaris and try to jump... if the message is permit locked, then you cant... if the message is fuel insuficient then you can!
engineer's bases don't have 'commodity market' right ?
How then do you sell commodities to them and rank up? Several of them have that option.Correct.
Sorry, think that was tried on a previous thread, and now they're extinct.Could always try the unicorn preservation idea: 'Every time you ask a question that's answered on the first page, a unicorn is eviscerated'.
I was gonna ask if anyone's taken a jaunt out there.
But instead I read through the first post. I see some UP experiments but not many.
I've just done a spectrograph test in orbit mode around Merope 5c, nothing unusual. =(
I'll head on over to Polaris and try some stuffs.
edit:
No to that btw, tried it before. I was planning on testing all the know permit systems that way. We did this test back in the UA days too. As I say I don't know if it's been done, can't see a mention on first page.
*joke on* nope - U have to replace the sound-file of Your 1C Advanced scanner by the soundfile of the UP and honk it in the system you want to jump from into the restricted system.... *joke off*Try to jump to those systems with UP onboard? Maybe it unlocks access?

They do however not sell anything that I know of.

I didn't even see that on the first page!
Ok cheers!![]()

It does mention taking it to earth which also would be interesting.
In the system adjacent to Polaris, unsurprisingly can't get in.
Honking at the UP produces the standard visual.
Don't they just get a big button for that on their main engineering page?

The UP TESTS google sheet linked on the front page hasn't been updated in weeks. (more than a month?).
I've tried to contact the people who own it for more than a week, got nothing back.
@rizal wanna replace it with this one? It's a copy of the same one, only difference is I have perms on it and can give other people perms. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...4UaWiXyRQL8VBz42LYmUsHNVY/edit#gid=1078588269
Any ammonia worlds nearby you could try honking the UP in the vicinity of?
Is that a question? As to my knowledge, it is not possible to supercruise between the systems. You can get as close as some Ls and still need to hyperjump.
