I've had that line pulled against me, but I presented the consent form you are describing-which I had considerately signed for the both of us.

Awesome to see missiles enter the combat meta in a useful and fairly balanced way--nice dropshipping CMDR... What mods were you running? Your shields seemed fairly strong.

One question, did you target his drives in anticipation of him turning and fleeing? Because you know it will just do hull damage while he's still facing you right ?

Either way, nice fixed laser shooting, o7. :)

While missiles still do hull damage when the target faces you,
especially the "solid missiles" (non packhounds) have a considerable splash damage
carrying over to the FDL's rather tightly clustered weapons.

Also you can take advantage of missile flight paths and still hit the engines
with some adaption.

To me, it looked like the FDL guy was having pretty much fun as well, as the duel was pretty equal:) Though, if it would be me, I'd add little Role-Play to it as well, indeed. But guessing, the OP is a strict PvP'er plus the FDL guy was having plenty of time to flee, he chose to PvP intentionally, which is always awesome!!!:D
