UAs, Barnacles and other mysteries Thread 8 - The Canonn

What if owners of unknown probe and unknown artifact are simply interested in Merope 5C cos they found barnacels like we did.
They established perimeter around this system, a shel 150ly radius in hope that the creators of barnacels will show up. So unknown artifacts scan every space craft they encounter but our ships clearly aren't the thing they are looking for so they remain dormant.
Unknown probe looks like orbital probe. It have instructions to find Merope 5C and establish orbit around it then scan activity in the vicinity of the planet. Nothing more. They aren't interested in us at all. We could probably use reverse engineering and crack those instructions to find it's origin. But it may be imposible.
Now the real question is why there are no uknown probes in orbit of Mereope 5C? There are so many people flying in this sytem. Surely someone would found some till now.
So we also have those Farragut class ships in the system. Could it be that feds captured all of them? Maybe activity of capital ships in nearbay systems is a clue where to look? Have anyone chcked that?

well, the Feds want the system we're currently fighting in enough to go to war over it. Why? What's special about that system? Lots of Barnacle sites in the Pleides, why that one? (Imp capitals over other systems in Pleides, but the feds aren't attacking those). I agree, we need to cast a wider net to solve this mystery, having 5000 players running around Merope 5C in scarabs is doing absolutely nothing to move this on.

So as a speculation maybe humans may have taken the "engineered" life form (from the barnacles and their UA) and tried to reverse engineer it. Then they engineered their own engineering and embedded it with human based instructions. Or the instructions / sonogram what the "purpose" of the probe is all about is not related to the barnacles. I think they are an after effect OF the barnacles.

So I guess my next question would be who released the probes into the wild? Was it humans or other? (I know I won't get an answer to that)

PS - dang I wish I wasn't in the rift right now, I have a few ideas.

if U ask that way, please check Plejades Sector RI-T B3-1 (or systems in a bubble of 10LY around it) if there is something unusual.

Why not, could have been any. Somewhere all has to start and if it would have been a different one, the UAs and UPs would have pointed there ?

If you saw a location on Merope 5c that had a vague remblance of a probe and then that image was connected by a thin line to something that looked like an electricity symbol, wouldn't you think that the EMP needs to be deployed there? We're running low on ideas so I'm bring up one of mine that was never tested. Crazy as it seems, sometimes the best opening move is insanity ;-)

I'm not stating the answer is on the surface just a portion of the mystery.

2. Humans find UA
3. Humans engineer barnacles from UA
4. Humans engineer UP from UA
5. The future - Thargoid Mothership comes for babies and is not happy.

No one else thinks it adds up? The galnet articles, all the hints and what we discovered, the timeline? Am I just going space mad haha oh nevermind

I'm still wondering if this ties into the lost... the generation ships. I'm leaning that way. This is where they picked up morse code and other things. Remember the lost if they survived (or didn't) at todays level wouldn't recognize a human ship as being human. The tech would be more advanced. Their tech would be only at a level they could travel at the same speeds. THUS the UA and its speeds seem to be traveling quite slower than sub light as they expand in the shell.

I'm thinking one of the LOST ships crash landed in the Pleiades and since there is no atmosphere and a high metal content world, possibly water or other microbial life survived on the planet surface and evolved into a metallic life form. Panspermia by accident. Thus a "Barnacle" would have its origins in possibly the real barnacles from Earth but much more evolved or even "engineered" by surviving crew on the surface.

Did they make any sort of underground facility on any of the moons? Are they still alive?

Is the UP searching Merope 5C for it's creators?

The HUMANS made the UP to PROBE the Pleiades looking for something.. What they are looking for is in the sonogram... but I thought Merope5c was not the target. Maybe that is the direction FROM Merope 5c to search?

It's got clues and puzzles aimed at the 8-10 people in this thread that do Base3 Maths or use Spectrograms lol . us simple game players that like a puzzle ,have no hope of this one.

Yeah, if the community is not a community of stupid average players but a community of rocket scientists with a desgree in psychological correction. Please have in mind that we all have a job, mostly constructing rockets, working on the mars mission and something like that.

Always sad to think about. You look at games like the original Elite and you can still load it up and experience it now. But who knows if we will be able to launch Eliteangerous 20-30 years from now to look back on the experience.

Solid conclusion - pointing to Merope 5C only matters in the Merope system, therefore the Merope system is important.

The UP points to Merope 5C everywhere.

Unless you're telling me that you can tell the angular difference between a star, and a planet orbiting that star, from 5ly away?
