What about if the UPs aren't transmitting information to people/lifeforms unknown on Merope 5c, but are trying to illicit a response from it. If I was correct and the UPs have been reverse engineered from UAs, the people who did it have a fairly good idea that something is happening with/on Merope 5c. UPs are found around ammonia worlds because whoever made the UPs is assuming (or knows) the UAs are Thargoid related and so they are trying to find something that will react with 5c.

Keep thinking back to the Thargoid rumours dispelled Galnet and wonder is it really saying everything in that article it debunks as myth is actually true

I was getting them when going from the start TO the planet, so i don't think the position is deterministic but it might as well affect the RNG.

I agree. The more recordings we get in different systems / around different planets, the more chance we have of reverse engineering the co-ordinate system that it uses. It may well be that Merope is 0,0,0. Or could it point us somewhere else? To a home system?!?

One thing that intrigues me about the UA is the fact that it uses morse, which is an outright human construct, to communicate ship images.

2) Pleiade Sector HR-W D1-57
3) Pleiade Sector JC-V D2-62
4) 42 N PERSEI
5) Hyades Sector AB-W B2-2
6) Arietis Sector XE-Z B4

IIRC 42 N PERSEI has a class B star. That would qualify for radiation.

Yeh sorry about that guys.

For clarity, the youtube video had binary hidden in frames, which decodes to show some sort of treasure hunt or similar starting on 28th August.

This is unrelated (most likely) to the audio from the UP etc.

Also like to note that since the thing starts 28th it's unlikely this information would give anyone much advantage, since rest of the E:D world will decode it before 28th...
