Cheers! Sure hope it's multiple..
Before the video from gamescon went private in a earlier thread, it showed the hangar bay on the Vette drop strait down via hydraulic jacks with a single condor on a mini landing pad. Your launched from the pad strait forward like a catapult and you return and land just like the scarab but you land on the bay platform. My memory is fuzzy but I think I saw the interface was similar to the Vehicle bay's and showed 2 available ships, one was a sidey the other was the condor, so im assuming it has the same handling like the 2+ scarab bay where you could chose which to deploy in.

Im really hyped about this. It will make my battleconda even more battle ready..

Now i just have to level up my fighter pilot to Elite, and i can sit back and wait in the fighter it self.. NPC's harvesting money for me.. :p

The T9 will ealy benefit from having a fighter. So far I just need the Cutter and the upcoming beluga, I have the rest of the ships allready. Im looking forward to taking screen shots of my Ships with the fighter, its gonna be great for exploration screen shots and the like.

Yeah I saw the vid, there were indeed two fighters apparently selectable, what I was less sure about was whether it was possible to deploy both at once.

Anyway mm this vid, the goodness

Tanya sure does have a low voice doesn't she? Not that I'm judging. Can't wait for this stuff.

From a traders perspective... although I'm not one per se...it'll give the illusion of having an NPC fighter escort... a feature asked for many times. It's certainly not that... but it's close.

All the combat references for ship launched fighters are kinda lost on me anyway, it's just a fun tool to play around with :)

In an ideal ED game world, that scenario in the vid is what would happen....

Cue 4 engineered Corvette interdictors, all firing thermal weapons, all launching fighters at the same (whatever it was) sole trader and it'll give you a more accurate picture of the reality of what we'll see in game....when was the last time any of us were interdicted by a mostly harmless, solo, role playing pirate Cmdr flown Python with no engineer nonsense? [yesnod]

I'd have to go back a few months before the arrival of 1.6 and the heady days of Error and friends...just doesn't happen now, sadly. I loved proper RP pirates.

It'll be the usual.. just with NPC mini gankers attached :)

Let me know where you're at & I'll gladly arrange such an encounter. I'm back in the bubble now, call for FREE salvage consultation ;)
