Is the Corvette Getting Paint Jobs and A Kit?

If this has been asked already forgive the post, but I couldn't find anything.

I see that a bunch of skins have been announced along with new kits, but I have not been able to find anything for the Federal Corvette. You know... The ship that has NEVER seen a single paint job since it was originally introduced.

Since this is my go-to ship in this game, it would be nice to have some customization options after over a year since its introduction.

Part of me thinks there will be a whole swath of ship add on's with the next update.

The whole update has a quailty of life and general "oooh that's nice" vibe to it. So wouldn't be surprised if additional cosmetic content appeared in the shop too. I'm hoping so, love the kit on my Cobra!

Uhhh... Its one of two ships in the game with ZERO paint jobs to date. Don't know what other ships you could possibly be referring to.

I certainly hope so. Considering the Vette is the only ship I fly in the game these days even though I have owned all of them, it would be nice if it had at least ONE compared to the half dozen or more so many other ships have had for years.

I'd love some paint jobs for my Corvette and Cutter, though Black is doing fine at the moment. I am fine with the fact that they address the ships that most people have first - the % of people with a Corvette is going to be pretty low after all.

And I didn't think I needed to spell it out.... I was primarily referring to the larger class of ships of which the Corvette is part. How many paint jobs does the Anaconda have now? Python? Even some of your smaller examples haven't been around nearly as long as the Corvette has. Its almost like FD forgets that the Corvette is even in the game.

And I don't buy the presumption that the number of players who own the ship is some tiny percentage of the player base. I see them all over the place the few times I have played in OPEN, and when ever there is a thread about Corvette builds and the like, there always seems to be plenty of replies from a lot of individual posters.

I hope Cutter and Vette get some soon but it's unlikely since only 3% or so of the players own a Vette and even less a Cutter :)

You didn't, I understood exactly what you were meaning. I wrote the other ships in jest. :D Sorry if I riled you.

I don't think basing the paintjobs on the amount of players who owns it is a good idea. We want paintjobs damn it. Don't make me take my pitchforks and torches and start rioting :p

And FDev wants money damn it. :D

So unless you're willing to pay an absurd price it's not going to be worth it for FDev.

But yes, I want some Corvette/Cutter skins, too. ;)

*starts supplying people with pitchforks and torches for a reasonalbe price*

All the ships mentioned that lack paint jobs, have been in the game as long or longer than the corvette. You'll live a little while longer. ;)
