The current Community Goal in the Arque System is probably the most fun CG I have ever been involved in. The moment I dropped into the system, I saw over a dozen Commanders flying around-with an even higher number around Austen Town Station. Hilariously, as soon as I dropped out at the Station, an NPC Eagle decided to "grief" me......within the No Fire Zone of the station no less......that didn't go too well for him ;).

So in less than 24 hours I've made over 300,000 Credits & gotten into the top 50%. The best part, though, is that I was able to Wing up with a couple of commanders for the first time since Wings first came out. There is something truly, truly awesome about talking to your Wing-mate whilst you toast a Wanted Python and Imperial Clipper :).

I will try and post a video soon, but I think this photo will help to sum up just how many Commanders are here at the moment!

Wish I could say the same, got invited to a wing with a Corvette that mass-locked me and made small talk while he planned and destroyed me, others ganging up on me for a 200c bounty while I'm combat with a NPC Conda or Python. It's sad when people have to resort to under-handed methods when they already have a 200m credit advantage in ship/oufitting and 2 other people in their wing.

Got interdicted by the standard 'bored Corvette with a couple friends' that always seems to be in CG systems. Got interdicted, said hi, then got lit up. High waked out of there with 55% hull.
Did lose my DBS, and a friend's Viper IV to some weenie in an FDL who claimed we were stealing bounties from him lol. "Don't steal bounties in squishy ships, save yourself a rebuy." Oh no! My 400k! I'll never make that back! Pfft. The reason I was out there in a DBS is because my FAS has crap jump range. Ended up taking it out there afterwards anyways, and I've been making more credits than the law should allow. Thanks, FDL weenie, for inspiring me to suck it up and drag my better ship out there.

Everybody in the system has been pretty cool aside from those mentioned above. Teamed up with someone in an FDL, and proceeded to trash things with my FAS. Had a good run of 1,200,000cr in one sitting. Saw countless FDL's, cutters, and 'Condas playing nice in the extraction sites, and one total badass in an Imperial Eagle zipping around the asteroids. It's been awesome. Joined a friend in a private group, made even more, since we have all the targets to ourselves.

I think I might take a chance and run out there in the Type 6. I'll bring limpets, and scoop up all the goodies that people never seem to pick up after the fight lol.

Sorry to hear that mate. What's that term "results might vary"? My Open experiences so far have been nothing but positive!

A funny story preceded the above video. When we initially dropped out at the Low Extraction Site, my wing mate took on a wing of 3 NPC's (including a Python). I hadn't yet seen what ship he was in, so thought he might be a tad......suicidal?!?! ;)

Anyway, I decided to go help him out.....but I was already copping it from an Adder I had previously taken on. By the time I had dispatched it, my Wing Mate was over 50km away. By the time I got back out to him, he had already knocked off the Python (his two wing mates had apparently done a runner!)

It was a very fun night!!!

Just depends who you happen to run in to..On Sunday 'was randomly killed 4 times by different (I think?) wings of Corvette's, Cutters & FDLs..& they all use the hilariously terrible heat scourge - last night by BBfa wing, when the saddo Corvette cmdr couldn't manage the job by himself - I just stayed on his tail - didn't fire at him at all but he called for back up!

Fortunately I don't give a sh*t about this - just a shout out to cmdrs to be extra careful at these events if you're reading this thread thinking 'wow that sounds awesome' - I do wonder what these weird characters get out of it! Ironically, the fairest PvP I had was with a SDC cmdr..go figure!

SOP: I check who's interdicting me - if it's a wing of the usual ships, I just submit, hit self destruct & have a bathroom break / get something to eat or drink from the kitchen, leaving them to it! Come back..remember to adjust the cargo priority :D & on with the barbecue!

300k??? You know there are RESs in that system, right? about 2k ls from the CG station! EDIT - Yes you do[???]

C'mon, y'all need to take it easy. 300k is a good pull for a Res.

Winged up with some other transient CMDRs tonight and we had a blast. Sitting at the 50% mark -- my first CG and had a great time.

I was wanted for about 40k when I went in, so this CMDR Corvette picked me up in the rings. I escaped, but he chased me in SC. Escaped again and then I dropped my shields and let my wingmen take the bounty.

It's nice to be clean again :D

A pleasant experience and four new friends.

Well in my defense, I made 130,000 of that 300,000 in the 15 minute span of that video ;). The other 170,000 I made before I knew there was an RES in that system :p.

Hehe, last Friday i winged up with a noob, and decided to see what would happen if i gave them no guidance what so ever in Arque, we ended up 50ly away, doing nothing of importance.
It was funny, but I don't think the poor guy understood English too well, and seemed to have no idea how CGs work.
When i returned to Arque just before going to work, I'd handed in a massive.....
14,000cr. Lol

Mainly because I got interdicted on the way in.

Since then, I've not had any time to play, so unless I can get online before the end of Thursday, I'm probably going to win the award for least effort in a bounty CG ever. :D

Glad the OP had fun, I love seeing busy systems, though it does make me a tad nervous when I see a wing of Corvette's, Cutters and FDLs. Lol

Just got there, signed up in the station, left the station, had a server disconnect, got back in to see another CMDR accusing me of combat logging and saying he had it on video. Got interdicted and high waked. Back in the system trying to get to the RES now. Seems like an active place.

And, just got killed by the same jerk who accused me of logging. One more attempt to hit the RES and if that sort of thing keeps going on I'm bugging out of this CG and doing something else.

I think I encountered the same guy in Farseer.He started asking about my shield strength, my top speed and whether I had modded my ship or not.I felt something was wrong so I started to leave only to see that he deployed his hardpoints.He wasn't able to catch me though.
