The current Community Goal in the Arque System is probably the most fun CG I have ever been involved in. The moment I dropped into the system, I saw over a dozen Commanders flying around-with an even higher number around Austen Town Station. Hilariously, as soon as I dropped out at the Station, an NPC Eagle decided to "grief" me......within the No Fire Zone of the station no less......that didn't go too well for him ;).

So in less than 24 hours I've made over 300,000 Credits & gotten into the top 50%. The best part, though, is that I was able to Wing up with a couple of commanders for the first time since Wings first came out. There is something truly, truly awesome about talking to your Wing-mate whilst you toast a Wanted Python and Imperial Clipper :).

I will try and post a video soon, but I think this photo will help to sum up just how many Commanders are here at the moment!

It was edging closer to ending earlier and earlier last night with the top tier having almost been reached. Was in the top 50% when I logged off, hope that was the case when it was ending!

You can add me to the list of those hoping they're still in the top 50%, though I doubt I got very far into it with less than a million. I broke off after about an hour to play a bit of No Man's Sky, as I'm finding the two games really complement each other (NMS' bright and shiny Roger Dean/Chris Foss aesthetic is an interesting contrast to the austere realism of Elite).

To my great surprise, my 300,000 credits still left me in the top 50%. Picked up a lovely 10 million credits for less than 1 day's work. Pretty nice if you ask me

Still can't afford an FdL though, sadly!

Yus! 10 million in bounties, top 10% and 21 million in rewards waiting for me when i get back, that was worth doing. Not bad for a simple Fuel Rat :)

Yep, I was a pleasantly surprised as well. With the amount of bounties turned in I was sure that I would get bumped down. Only turned in about 300k myself.

Not bad for a quick evening running bounties with some wingmates.

This was my first CG since you could sign up for them from any bulletin board, rather than having to go to the correct drop-off point first. Has that increased the number of people signing up then not doing anything much?

That's a possibility. Up until you mentioned that I was assuming that everyone turned at least something in.

The time limit was one more day, but as clearly stated (all over the place now) if the final tier is reached before that, it ends. The bounty voucher total passed 20 billion which was tier 10 of 10 so it's done and rewards can be collected from the relevant mission board (or you can wait 2 weeks and it'll pay out automatically if you don't need the credits right now and are already somewhere else).

Yeah, been in that situation before. Was the very first wing I joined many months ago. I love multiplayer but some people...
