Should ship transfer require the ship to be equipped to make the trip?

Should ships have be adequately equipped to make the trip to where they are being teleported

We already have the mega thread and poll dealing with the instant vs timed new ship transport mechanic. One part that has largely gotten lost in all of that is the fact that the travel mechanic does not take into account the ships outfitting...in oter words as it was presented, the ship does not actually have to be equipped to make the travel...it does not take into account fitted FSD or fuel scoop, so as the extreme example, a battle loaded Anaconda, or T9 could be fitted with 2e FSD's and no fuel scopp and still be transferred to Jaqueue, yet if a human were flying them, they could even make it out of the system.

Mods, please indulge this poll as it is a different, yet equally important aspect of this new mechanic. As it seems in the other thread, this might be the most disagreed with part of the decision.

No because the ship isn't traveling. It's being produced at the station you're at by viewing your license to own the ship and modules.

So then all stations should sell all ships, and all modules?

No because there's a difference between what a station is allowed to sell and what they are allowed to reproduce of what you already own. Same way car dealerships need contracts with car manufacturers to sell new cars, but the used car market is completely different.

Also, this is a video game.

I would like the cost to scale with how many jumps it would take with the outfitting of the ship. So a t9 with 10ly jump range would take mabe 11 jumps to travel 100ly so thats 500k but if you have put a rubbish fsd in and it can only jump 5ly then thats probably more like 15 jumps so 1.5mill for you sunny. So if you have the creds you can move your battleconda to the other side of the bubble with a tiny fsd but it'll costa ya some big boy bucks :) so you might consider making shure it has a good jump range to save some cred rather than exploit the system.

But im w8ting and seeing on this to see what they do before i throw my rubber duck out the space bath.
