I know we will be able to hire crew soon, but I want to be able to hire a snarky co-pilot. I don't really care if he/she actually does anything regarding the ship or giving any additional benefits. I just want that co-pilot to be sitting in that other chair in my ship, look like they are doing something (even if it is just looking at Facebook or watching YouTube videos on their console display), and give snarky commentary. You know....spice it up a bit instead of flying around space with just a bobble head to keep me company a majority of the time. While the bobble head always agrees with me, his conversation skills are silencing.

I'd pay for GLADos as my co-pilot.

I too would enjoy a snarky co-pilot. Hopefully someone similar to HCS's "Doris". If you don't already have "Doris" running on voice-attack, you are missing out on a treat IMO.
I would love a co-pilot as snarky and murdery as HK-47 from KOTOR - that would be worth paying a ton of creds for.

Marvin (has to be Alan Rickman voice as well) from hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. Or R2-D2, with a bunch of smart ass beeps and whistles.
Thats what I proposed instead of autopilots, for example, the Python will not have FIGHTER HANGAR, but have a copilot chair, why not hire an NPC to make most of the journey, while you drink a couple of Andorian Ale relaxed?

The cockpit of my Python always feels especially lonely. That empty seat off to the right, every time I have to look across out of that side of the cockpit it just makes me feel like Billy-no-mates.
