replace the most common with most common letters?

The last clue, about the portugese explorer from 1804 years ago....

3302 - 1804 = 1498

There are 3 points in the Ngalia system named after Portugese Explorers, however only one was active exactly on 1498 according to wikipedia.

Pedro Escobar - Recorded sailing with Diogo Cao on his first voyage in 1482 - Escobar Installation is in the system...
Goncalo Coelho - two expeditions between 1501-02 and 1503-04, so very close - Coelho Vision is in the system....
Fransisco Serrao - He explored later, around 1512. Serrao Settlement is in the system............

The Defendant reference and shorthand was actually the clue to go from Alpha outpost to Delta outpost. Delta is the shorhand for Defendant in legal terms.

Wait then.. with all the decoded clues, now comes the puzzle. It is one of those logical puzzles where A is not a bird, Birds don't fly, Joe likes birds.. Now we have to identify which one of the three pilots is the trader/pirate/bountyhunter, what ship is in each type9/asp/cobra and where they are..

I would focus on the three 2 letter and 3 letter words first. The larger words could be tougher to nail down as it could be in context to a weird planet name that could cause issues.


POH and ZH have a letter in common, most likely a vowel.(maybe not though so don't stick to that) That would be a great place to start.
