Alright, put your tinfoil hats on for a second, this could be nothing but...

I marked the locations of some pre logistics bases, the destinations of the hunt, and the pleiades, and they seemed to follow a straight line, but where was it leading?
I thought: since its going upwards, It might be going towards the alliance, so I marked Alioth where in the lore it is said the Alliance keep a Thargoid ship, and here is the resul::

Lots of weird noises sounds like radio static and something large moving like a ship or something.
Also glitches on scanner and surface map on srv.

I've been out on a little jaunt and those sounds have turned up on every planet I landed on, long with the dots/squares appearing on the radar. I just believe they are game effects.

It makes sense for it to be in a line, they're logistical supply bases for a large force, so you're moving supplies to the front line with stopping points to refuel/repair or to act as a fall back position.

Just checked a POI near those coordinates and it's a load of occupied escape pods. Could it me that? They do fizzle and send the radar haywire when you're close.

I am questions why everyone wants to kill the aliens. TIIQ especially. Apparently we will get more content if we were at war. (thats what people are saying) which makes no absolute sense. being friends would be getting new ships, weaponry, modules etc.)

Based on this picture, it looks rather like a mountain range or wave/storm that just picks up some light when the ground below doesn't. Could be wrong, but I've seen this kind of thing before... with interest, but after paying more attention discounted it.

well you can get some pepole together to help to scare away phyco players from the search zones tomorrow

the UA's are harvesting the energy from the Pleidies, a giant alien dyson sphere. The UPs are just checking Ammonia planets in the area, to make sure there are no Thargoids lurking about.

Reasons: Thargoids are insectoid. The Artifacts and probes (and even barnacles) aren't, they are more.. aquatic. Marine. Fish-like. A different alien species to the Thargoids.

They also sound like whales. Seem to use a form of echolocation for communication. Look like deep sea creature-like with lighting up. But yes... everyone can continue on thinking its an insectoid race of Thargoids. We are probably about to be dealing with more than one alien race. The problem is going to be determining which is more hostile to us. The Thargoids, who we may have just irritated like bothering a hive of insects. Or the more sea-like creatures, which.. if Mr. Brookes is any indication to go by, are probably going to be some void-dwelling, Lovecraftian Old Gods which may or may not want to wipe us out or drive us insane for fun..

You know. Just an idea.
