guys, just a quick heads up to everyone.. It may happen that today during the encounter, we are only given more clues to keep solving riddles. I just would like to advise everyone on lowering the expectations a little bit. If we are feed with some alien thing at the end than it is only for the best, but if we wait for this to happen today and it doesn't happen, just don't get mad, it is our fault. The hidden message said: - it begins the 28th -, but never said when it does end.
I agree with this whole heartedly. A lot of people expect an alien invasion or something along those lines but in reality the reward has already been stated "the truth". Expect information and possibly seeing something related to aliens, maybe even a crashed ship, but aliens themselves are probably coming later.
Well, we are in the middle of it, where some speculation is unavoidable at the moment.
To be honest, the "white" shouldn't be there, it came from a copy and paste, so my bad.
I've added the word SPECULATION for your pleasure, and a fourth bullet with another interpretation
And to be honest again, I've modified the FP some hours ago, after your post about both Granger or Dillon being the BH.
If you have a better suggestion for bullet 3 I'll be happy to change it, no problem.
However, the FP is to document the overall progress, theories and speculations included, if there is nothing more plausible or documented at the moment: that's what the Breaking News section is for.
The Gospel goes in the other sections only after it's become gospel.
Anyway, Granger or Dillon, Black or White, the places to be and the time, are the relevant info, for now.

If we are really being critical of our thought process none of the clues explicitly talk about a bounty hunter or even allude to it. it's just as plausible none of them are one and they will provide clues to another character who is. Conjecture at this point, whilst unavoidable, needs to be kept distanced from the knowledge we have in case it makes the task harder because we have not managed our expectations.

The hidden messages in the Gamescon videos that kicked this treasure hunt off mentioned a bounty hunter. They're also the only clue that gives a specific date, and the clue that lead to the first local news clue. So the bounty hunter bit is definitely relevant.

Is it going to be helpfull setting people off on a search for a BH tomorrow in cail or apa' based on what we have? I think maybe not. If one of them turns out to be a/the BH then superb but it's just as likely that none of them will be and they will simply issue more clues for us to use to find the BH. That's what I mean by managing our expectations based on the clues we have for tomorrow.

I really haven't the foggiest, for all we know Frontier could string us along for weeks lol I almost hope they do to be honest, they know we like puzzles, I hope this one is a doozy! It just seems to me to be an awful lot to happen between today where we have basically nothing and the tease vid that seems to show station wreckage....that's a lot to happen in just one day, right?

Now you're saying "well these latest clues don't mention a BH", but why would you think that only the latest clues are relevant? The clue I cited is clearly relevant to the mystery and it specifies the date. If you're discounting that one then why are you looking on the 28th?
To find us, look for a bounty hunter.
To find more clues...
To me, this implies that "look for a bounty hunter" is clue #1 and belongs in the list of "more clues" that we found that refer to a Trader, Cobra, Yellow Asp, etc.
It's not so much a leap to assume Dillon or Granger must be the Bounty Hunter, it's a mere mild step.

see, this is why we can't have nice things. and why ED needs an "Open PVE" server. There is no point having player-NPCs like Salome wandering around open, if the people who would interact with them are hiding in Solo.
Died in Apademak to the SDC, I ain't even mad. I sacrificed myself to save a wingmate. Was actually the most intense thing that had happened so far, waiting for Granger to show up.
