Have you actually tried what I've suggested? I get the antenna symbol, but the alignment is too much of a coincidence.

I'm trying to do what you said but I think I didn't understand how to rotate the image to get the alignment you want. It will be wonderful if you figure out how to upload a picture.

Best is to upload the file to imgur, and when it's done hover over the picture and from the menu that appears at the top right corner choose 'get links'. There'll be a bbcode for forums. Copy and paste it directly into the comment box here on the forums.

about the twitter of Kerrash :

Corvus constellation and his symbol looks on a antenna will they come from the Antennae galaxy NGC 4038 & NGC 4039

"The Antennae Galaxies, also known as the Ringtail Galaxy or Arp 244, are a pair of colliding galaxies located in Corvus constellation. The interacting spiral galaxies have the designations NGC 4038 and NGC 4039 in the New General Catalogue. The galaxy collision resembles an insect’s antennae, which is how the pair got the name. The “antennae” are formed by two long tails of stars, dust and gas expelled from the galaxies as a result of their interaction.

Just a question: anyone knows what time-frame the riddel is referring to UTC or ingame time. Becouse ingame time is one hour off from GMT/UTC.

any ideas?

I can't be sure but I would use the game time if I were to design this kind of puzzle to avoid confusion.

Always in game time

Fun fact the in game time has its own lore about being set up to have a universal time for all places, regardless of local times, so the Pilots Federation could coordinate itself, and that the Super Powers all use an agreed time to avoid diplomatic incidents about miscalculating each others calendars.

In game time or Galactic Mean time is not aligned with UTC nor worries about daylight saving.

To check yourself fly to Earth and to your home country and you will see the Sun will be in a different place in game to you.

But short answer

Always in game time

I'm assuming you're in the UK and looking at UK time set clocks. UK time is currently set at British Summer Time which is one hour ahead of GMT (Clocks go forward an hour in March and back an hour in October right?).

The in game time IS set to GMT. Your local time is an hour off GMT.

They're not griefers... They're role playing and adding a valuable facet to Elite Dangerous' gameplay. Why else would FD let it continue...

Hmmm... I wonder were such role players are headed right now?

Apparently on a complete whim they've decided to "protect" Cail and Apademak today! I bet no one saw that coming.

Game time is NOT set to GMT

here is a shot from orbit of Earth over New Zealand.

As you can see the in game clock is 0933

But the Sun can be see reflecting in the Pacific ocean to the East of New Zealand.

As New Zealand is on the opposite side of the world to England, I believe it would be quite impossible for the Sun to be shining down on New Zealand at 0933 GMT as in NZ the local time was 2233 hrs

Thus Galactic mean Time is not the same as or set to Greenwich Mean Time, when you view Earth in game

Game time is Game time
It doesn't align to anything on earth and doesn't change for daylight savings.

Maybe the Asteroid strike in 2135 altered the Earth's rotation slightly

For all practical purposes Game time and GMT are identical. How FD decide to offset in-game planetary positions and rotations between IRL 2016 galaxy and IGL 3302 galaxy is -for all intents and purposes - irrelevant in the original situation. GMT is GMT. Galaxy/solar system/planetary/object location and rotation are something entirely different.
