Just curious (and yes, it's 3 AM where I am*):

Will the "hunt" that begins August 28 just be someone throwing a switch 'on' or will this be a "servers down for a while" type of thing?



* Was advised about 12:15 AM this evening that the fire department was out front putting the fire out in my car. It had been sitting there since 7:30 PM this evening. Neighbor noticed it and called the fire department. Fire's out but my weekend is now officially, well, you know. Thank [diety] for insurance (comprehensive should cover it). 2001 Buick Century, 178k miles, kept in really good condition. Shortly after the FD left, the horn went off on its own. Battery died before I could disconnect it. BTW, had they not noticed it in time it would have spread to my landlady's car and eventually the house. Not sure how this started, either. Adrenalin is pumping right now so that's why I'm awake at this ungodly hour.

It's definitely not a 'servers down' type of thing. This is a kind of treasure hunt. There'll be clues given in the game upon the completion of several puzzles, presumably by being in the right place at the right time. Solving the clues will lead to more clues and at the end, something the developers hid and want us to see.

This will be a huge thing. I am excited and feared at the same moment (feared that I will be disappointed).
There´s the possibility that it´s impact on the community is bigger than 2.2, don´t you think? This could divide the community about several points even more.
