So can we expect that the next event will be at Loki Tan around 21:00?
The jump range of a non armed and trade fitted Type 9 is below 20 LY/Jump with 8 jumps autonomy.
Should help fix a radius for the search of the single M Star where he is gone.

I don't know about mythological liar, but Czernobog (slavic god I believe?) has a M-Class, but also has planets - not far from Cail, this message is tricky though, it might say single M-Class star, but it could just be referencing stars, not other bodies, but obviously it is pure speculation at this point, but if I do find any links to what you are looking for I'll give you a heads up

theres none in range but lets keep confirming each other , there is a K class , its easy enough to sub K for M and continue the search

The permit locked system does seem likely.

HIP 22182, a single M class star system with a permit lock 26Ly from Cail.
That's all I could gather from the galmap and Reddit comments, could be worth checking out.
was a post earlier.. maybe solving part of the puzzle will result in a permit for that area. (giving him enough drugs for example)

I was there at 10am, but in solo.
It makes no sense that Frontier would make it open only.

I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and guess the drug addict in the red fish-carrying ship is the liar.
It also makes sense for the first clue to be the fake one, as it gives the whole way the things are being done a shake-down to make sure the system works before the 'real' clues are given out.
The cynic in me also says that when work is done on a Sunday, culminating in something high profile on Sunday evening, the first person into the office in the morning is going to be getting the least glamorous job.
Looks like the SDC have killed the Red Trader in open. Hope they are happy with themselves.

Makes plenty of sense. Open has such a bad rep because of the griefers that FDEV want to promote reasons to be involved.
Also, if these pilots ARE player-controlled by actors, then I don't think they can connect to player's solo instances.
I was there at 10am in open with a bunch of other commanders and saw nothing either.
