Question about a crashed ship I just found

I found a crashed ship with two escape pods, chemical processor and other stuff in Pleiades sector from the videos. The chemical processor is making a static noise, is this normal?
This is my first crashed ship.

Thanks.

Some things like this do make a noise.
If you think it's different to what you have heard before post it as a video so we can hear it also.

All Manufactured Materials make sounds when you approach them or just park very close to them...

Sadly I do not have any way of recording. I will have something setup from here on out.

This is kind of what I guessed, but I couldn't find any recordings.

Mid range Nvidia cards and above have video recording built in via the Geforce Experience.
I use it and it works well without any noticeable performance hit.

There are other software based video recorders available as well.

Yes this is normal. You'll also hear them if you scoop them in space too.
