Please stop with all this scepticism, it's obviously not fake. A fake CMDR would not be able to send an inbox message (unless and FDEV). Also T9 is an expensive ship, so I doubt that someone would be able to make an account with the correct name and grind a T9 in the time given. Please stop filling this highly useful thread about science with the FAKE stuff, because you then ask for evidence and say that the evidence is fake. Really ruining this...

Then how did the player send a mission mail? Something that players cannot do to each other.

CMDR Logan Kohl was the one who sent the mission message. It was a player character, with a hollow box but there was no option to send a private message to him, or invite him to wing.

Indeed, given that I'm already a latecomer to this due to not realising it was going to kick off yesterday I'm currently drinking a pint of blackcurrant, strawberry and blueberry smoothie and contemplating a Marlboro whilst adopting a zen approach to the whole thing.

Then, when we have pictures, we say they are fake.

I think I can say if a picture is fake. Those are not. Anyway, whatever. It's ok.

I would say hold your tears and air punching until after 21:00. The fact that the trader was introduced to us as someone who carries fish suggests this is a red herring. Why give a hint to a permit locked station and ask for drugs? Why should we be taking this guy seriously? Also in the video he just stood still while he got shot to death. I think it is just a goof by FD.

That being said, if the cobra shows up in open, gives two people a lame hint, then gets killed...I will hang my head in shame and never speak of the 28th to any of my friends again

They are on the FP now.

They are becoming too many evidences, IMHO...

Still not 100% convinced. I'll hold on to my skepticism for now.

If this is how this clue pans out, then it's been very poorly implemented IMHO

then again Fdev put spelling mistakes in most galnet articles so its perhaps one could argue verification that it is real. Depends how its spun

While I do believe it is real, one reason this could be 'off' is part of the 'Red Herring' idea. I don't subscribe to it myself but it's worth thinking about. More clues that, while the interaction was real, that the info is not to be paid attention?
