Don't be suprised if the CG is not actually something you participate in but is what FD are using to give out this part of the clue so it's more readily readable by all players, my take forget trying to bring anything to it just decode the message, if they seemingly asked for fish its likely place holder like it was for engineers beta testing.
Relax guys.
Some stuff will be live in Open, and if you are lucky enough to be in the same instance as those FD players, you'll get the message first hand.
However, FD aren't total buffoons and they know the shortcomings of their instancing system, and also the other modes, they'll make sure everyone can get the message one way or the other (multiple chances).
So relax. Please.
I don't even know what the going on anymore.
We have to sell fish from market that just magically appeared or something?
This is something to do with the Kohl thing or something entirely different?
Dang. I'm in a conda. Is a python the best bet for this?
Think of it this way:
"
Smart thinking.
The time limit of 2,5 hours coincides with the decoded 3PM time of arrival
of the explorer.
That part i assume is in open, so the players can switch the ships.
I presume the 21:00 o'clock be the final stage then.
The passage you highlighted in the quote reinforces my thought i guess,
the cg is the alternative to decoding.
Either play decoder or hauler."

Market appeared
So Fish from Lenoir City, HIP 21559 to Kippax Dock Ngalia - Outpost medium Pad only
Apparently. Though I am of the opinion that the CG was just the quickest way for FD to get the missing encrypted clue into the game, in which case FD don't intend us to actually do the CG.
I love how people are complaining they are being 'Forced' to play Open, but that is bad because they don't like PvP.
''Why can't I ride my motorcycle around this kids' park? I'm being FORCED on to the roads. WAAH.''
Yes, events don't always have to abide by your comfort zone.
This is a player driven storyline. Its only appropriate for it to be in open.
