Strange noise at beagle point

Well i just reached Beagle point tonight, but this morning, while in supercruise in a close system, i heard the exact same noise than the one on this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5h-9mNJFrw

Do you guys have any clue or...

Up because the noise just stoped in a mechanical sound! Like if my ship was being scanned or something like that!

If you use quality headphones you will notice a whole lot of details in the ambient soundscape. All claimed 'strange noises' so far have only been regular ambient sound noticed for the first time.

That's gonna take more than that ;)

I understand that u guys could be septic, but after almost 200,000 ly travelled...

Plus i wear headphones all the time, so i would have noticed it way earlier

It may be the first time you actually float idly to rest up a bit, when you jonk you can't notice it.

yes, i know this sound from the video. not from BP, happening randomly.

i guess it's basically the same as your ship turning greeb ir blue - in this case, not a visual, but an audio artefact.

After 200,000 Ly without hearing it, it pop right after my arrival to BP... All this sounds stoo much weird for me to dont pay attention to these kind of facts and thinking about an audio artefact (u may be right tho!) :S

Huh, I wear headphones from time to time, but I have to admit in all of my hundreds of thousands of light years in game, I've never once heard THAT sound in the OP's video. I'd be startled too.

So many random audio / visual bugs still in the game. Nobody is going to consider a one off event that isn't repeatedly reproducible as anything but a bug. We got shader issues coloring the entire screen or only the cockpit controls ... odd star textures phasing in and out, shaders causing planets to look like lights are appearing as you approach ... Audio wise we have sound effects that should be very momentary end up stuck in a loop. Audio not played at all. Or audio playing sound at odd volumes that ordinarily wouldn't be so loud or mixed the way it is.

I'm sure there are things hidden in the galaxy. But they wont be "odd audio" - mostly because there is no audio in space so unless you see a source too, I'd say it's just a bug. Plus some 500 people or so have been to beagle point.

I've heard this noise twice in the past week, once on my way to jaques:

The other while neutron farming not so far from jaques (no video).

The sound definitely comes from something in system and also it disappears after a while, I also tried flying around the systems looking for USS but could not find none.

I've heard the same sounds a couple of times, reminds me of cicadas. It seems to happen at random. Very strange when you hear it but there's no known explanation for it as far as i know. Cicadas are bugs so maybe it's a bug, then again, maybe aliens are bugs?

I use a fairly big sound system along with a 1200w subwoofer and stand alone amplifier...(deep and dark house music fan) and sometimes use headphones when the complaints get excessive. Never once heard that noise before until last night for the first time...came on so suddenly, I actually stopped and just sat trying to work out exactly what it was.

I'm in the formidine rift right now and maybe I'm just falling for the hype and paranoia...but I actually really don't like this region...lotta little things just feel...wrong.

Wrote a long rambling post about how "wrong" it felt, although that was more in the way the systems are composed in the first place. You guys are making me hear things that were never there before dammit!

Never heard it after 200,000ly UNTIL i reach BP
