Any chance of increasing the "rush" scenario time on delivery missions to be several minutes?

Let me first state that I have no problem with the rushes put on the delivery jobs every now and again, I like it in fact, I also enjoy the diversion messages you can get, it all adds to the realism of the world.

However something that I find a little silly is when you are given a time that is just completely unrealistic. For instance you might have an entire system left to traverse after jumping in to the star and you get 2 minutes to travel 6000Ls, de-warp, get clearance to land and dock, it's not going to happen.

Another common scenario is you de-warp at a station and you get a 0 minute (whatever the time actually is) rush to complete the mission. By the time you have read the message you are already well on your way to using up your time and you then have the remaining seconds to cover whatever is left of the 10KM to the station, get landing clearance and dock. Again, it's not going to happen.

There must be a calculation that can be applied that can give a realistic time that allows you to perform the rush, but not give you much extra time to mess around?

Happens all the time, it's a minor annoyance and I hope they get it fixed. What I cant abide is the mission diverts, cause's all kinds of problems, we should be able to abandon them without penalty or deliver them as per the agreement. I got another one today just as I touched down on the landing pad, we now want you take it to a station 33ly away 3000ls deep. Yeh right, thanks for that, is that supposed to be fun, no it's not fun re-think this game mechanic please and stop taking liberties with my game time.
 
Quite a few times it will give you "0 minutes 0 seconds" as a rush bonus.

This is a known bug. I agree with you, I'm pretty sure FD will have a better version of this mechanic in their next release (one would hope).
 
I get loads of those 0 minutes 0 seconds updates, not to mention diverts to a system I am wanted in! Wouldn't be so bad if the damned mission board would load quicker. yet another server lag bug that needs fixed.
 
Lol i get a few seconds to when im doing my docking approach.. literally 3 maybe 4 seconds.. i cannot FSD into my docking bay.. so how the hell im supposed to achieve the bonus goals set out by my mission npcs is well beyond me. another case of badly coded content.. maybe a fix in the future? has anyone bug reported this?
