Somebody told me that is only correct, as long
as zulu time is not changed due to military operations.

Someone told you wrong. Zulu is constant and remains constant regardless of changes in operations, local daylight-savings observances or anything else. NATO uses Zulu so that all members can reference a single standard time in order to sync operations. Just look at the confusion over timezones going on in this forum thread. Military real-time operations could not function with this kind of confusion. By operating off a single standard and constant time zone you can be sure that if the airstrike is at 1600zulu it will be at a specific time and you can move your troops out of harms way before that happens.

Just read one post #2 that someone killed the T9 this morning, watching the twitch stream and comparing to my own recordings I believe I know who the culprit is (they tried to kill me a few times!). I'll not name the cmdr as I suspect it falls foul of the rules, but happy to post the video somewhere if anyone's interested :)

UTC and GMT are the same thing, chap.

UTC [to Europeans] = GMT [to Brits] = Zulu [To Americans]

UTC and GMT are similar.
UTC and GMT are NOT the same.

Sorry. A pet peeve of mine.

GMT is mean solar time (based on earth's rotation around sun). This is VERY similar to UT1, which is more or less a scientifically better defined version of GMT.

UTC is based on atomic time (TAI) with leap seconds added to keep it within 0.9 seconds of UT1.

Currently GMT (well, UT1) is 0.3 seconds ahead of UTC. With a leap second being added in December, UTC should be ahead of GMT.

Can they be used interchangeably in most cases? Yes - just don't go saying they are the same. :)

Being in open is NOT an option, Check out the Bounties at the dock,,,, Our friendly wiz IS t the top.

Sorry no intention of giving any of the &%$%^&^%$ the privilege of attacking me for no reason.

The most annoying one was the CMDR ramming people at the nav beacon in Apadamek. Many things can be classed as "legitimate gameplay", but this one is what I definitely class as griefing as it is a kind of exploit to try and avoid accumulating a bounty.

How many Thargoids does it take to screw in a light bulb?

One. The problem is getting it in the lightbulb....
