Anaconda, Doe it get any better

So i have nearly finished modding my conda to the way i want it, and i have to say i have mad love for my conda, it rocks. Does insane damage with its grade 5 mc and mc turretts, hauls 352 cargo so earns me a decent wage. has just under 2k shields so can face tank most things, its DD5 means i can FA turn and keep eagles in my sights. And have just finished sorting its thermal load out so i can now scoop with out worrying about it blowing up.

Makes me wonder what ship is next, i mean what can equal the jump range, cargo and in your face lazer bukkake. loving this ship so much i have not even looked at my python since i bought it :O

For murdering, I prefer my Python (G5 DD) to my 'conda, because fixed.

If you want a better killer than the 'conda, go Corvette.

I don't have rank for a Corvette yet, but between the Python or Anaconda for killing purposes, I will take the Python every time.

The Python is half Anaconda, half FDL.

Basically got a good G5 FSD boost from Farseer, got a 5D PD, and gave it a engine cap mod, put 5 multi cannons on ( Caus exploration is gonna get dangerous at some point. ) and give them all a G5 lower mass mod, got a 4D Shields, and moded it, got D5 thrusters, and gave them a G5 clean mod.

Rest is basic explorer setup.

Sure, i went with a 8c PP with a grade 1 over charge so i could up thermal load a bit just swopped it out for a 8a with grade 1 over charge now tho, 7A thrusters with DD5,6A Fsd with a 48% increase and + to fuel jump, 8D PD with a grade 1 recharge, thinking of making that a grade 5 but not sure if i will yet, 5D life support, 8D sensors, just to keep weight down. 6A grade 5 reinforced shield,5A scoop, rest is cargo racks apart from my DC, 1x hugh mc grade 5 with incendary round 3x large mc grade 5( 1 with corrosive round), 2x medium mc turret grade 4,2x small mc turretts lw with 2x corrisve round, 6x shield booster with reinforced grade 5/3, 1x heat sink, 1x PD.

You do realize it is almost as wide as a 747 is long, right?

It is simple geometry: The Anaconda hull bulkheads have a LOT of surface area to cover.

The Anaconda is a luxury liner, not the end-all-be-all combat ship (get a Corvette for that).

I wouldn't call it a luxury liner... Heavy industry platform is more like it.

The Anaconda is just over double the size of a 747-400.
747-400 - 231 feet
Anaconda - 495 feet

When you compare the Anaconda's hull mass of 400 tons to a Federal Dropship (580 tons) or Python (350 tons) something is wrong.

Even more wrong is the 400 ton Anaconda has more base hull armor (945 points) than a 900 ton Federal Corvette (666 points)

I get that FD wanted the Anaconda to have long legs, but they really should have gone with a class 7 or 8 FSD vs. magic space twinkie hull plating.

Got zero interest in pvp at the moment, and if i was going to pvp wouldnt be in this pve build. Thxs for the invite tho
