Ok so 50 mill in credits lost to kids , on line all day, for ?????????? Oh and now need to go round collecting material for engineering mods, lost when destroyed as I was forced to play in open,, mind you if I could have Stored them ..... ah no ok not possible. ..... good night all had enough for one day o7

Did you try to high wake?

Lol SDC killing all players in Apademak and Hunting down the Cobra to wipe it out.

At least theyre having some fun out of this......

Not sure I would call it fun. More like a fix, like an addict would get from cocaine, but instead they achieve it from the distilled tears of player kills.

The weaker the loadout and player skill of the mark they kill the more pure the tears to feed their addiction.

If elite was real , I would have given up and called it a con.

But because its a game , maybe they are on to something.

The idea that some twits found this ''thing" and are profiting from it is growing on me. but I do hope the resault is worth it

Now that the day is concluded my final thoughts are;

- The endgame of this mystery is still exciting, given that it appears to be alien-related. Or, at the very least, an unusual incident.
- The execution, for me however, is bad for two reasons;

First reason - It's boring. I thought it was going to be a case of having to follow a ship through a series of jumps to be lead to a unique USS or POI that we could scan for the next part of the puzzle. Instead it is 3 fetch quests.

Second reason - 3 fetch quests that you could only really see if you had the right instancing. Now I don't mind not being 'the guy' that meets these people. I get that it is community focused and not individual focused. But due to the instancing, this felt like an event that was only happening to 'Some' players. We're all in an 'open' universe but only 'some' people truly got the 'chance'. This is the reason some people feel like their day was 'wasted'.

Overall though I do approve of the interactivity from FD with its player base. That is only a good thing. I just feel like there is room for improvement.

I'm trying to be fair with criticism. I'm happy to see where it goes and keep following it, but my gameplay time will be spent levelling engineers before 2.2 I think.

Cmdrs

here's a full theory:

kohl speaks truth.
ditton lies and speaks the opposite of everything
and with granger's info,
here it is :
a single star sytem (opposite of binary)
m class star(what kohl said)
with 10 bodies
one of them is a landable ice planet (opposite of rock)
and the cords are either:
long or lat 68
or 34 long or lat
the hunt can begin

yes, reasonable, and could it be Pic Tok? ;)

Here's the recap I've alread put on the FP:

1) Logan Kohl (Red Trader), found in Cail at 10:00, told us "One of my friends always lies. The system has a single M-class star." He also offered a second clue in exchange for narcotics.
2) Mahina Dillon, found in Apademak at 15:00, (last seen in Pic Tok, from the decoded CG text...), told us "I visited a rocky planet at latitude 34 near binary pulsars." He also offered a second clue in exchange for tobacco.
3) CMDR Otto Granger found in Apademak at 21:00, saying"I visited a system with 10 bodies and one sun. after the incident I woke up in a system far away." He asked to bring him Lavian Brandy in Scott Orbital, to give us some other clues.

I suspect we'll have to bring all the three required goods to the three of them in the near future, to acquire more clues.

Quite sure Mahina is a "she"... as per my earlier post. ;)
