Okay, there is now a poll but I'm still not quite sure... I think its about what our first elite was and how we like it. Or so, maybe the Canonn can help here?

I think I get it.

The OP wants to know two things: when you first started playing any of the Elite series game (84 for the original, 2k for FE2/FFE, 2014 for ED), and whether or not you think ED is perfect. The OP's obvious expectation is that his personal experience is actually a rule, and that there is a correlation between when you first played Elite and how much you enjoy ED ('84 crowd loves ED, today's spoiled kids just don't understand it).
