USS, High Grade Emisions

I was looking for the imperial shielding for long enough to open this thread, something is wrong, right now, im at a Empire System wich it is in outbreak, and i looked for in the shipping lanes, the Deep spaces and near the planets also, but NONE USS of high emission has still happeared, im here for 5 hours already.
Did someone can help me please?

I've found my Imp. Shielding through missions in Fed and Independent systems (I know, go figure?!). It is quite rare though. doing a 3 hour stint of missions last night, I stumbled upon only one that gave Imp. Shielding. Grabbed it with both hands, and now have five or six in my collection. Not that I have any use for them quite yet, but you know, if it is rare, I'd rather stock up now than fumble around later.

This can be a tricky problem when looking for most of the rare and very rare materials.

A trick I have found useful is to filter out low population star systems and just search more populated ones (2million+ people or so), in the right kind of star system.
The higher the population the more USS tend to spawn in. More is obviously better given the High Grade Emissions USS low chance of spawning.

Found a good few HGE randomly in Fed systems (Sol being one of them), but of course, these spawned Core Dynamics Composites (about 6 per USS), not Imperial Shieldings. Not the kind of USS you want to ignore at any rate.

First of all: Inara is WRONG on this one, and many other ones too. Don't you believe it. Believe what ingame description says.

Second: go to Imperial-aligned system which is in Boom or None. Fly away from planets and shipping lanes until you're in deep space. Wait for USS to pop. Good luck.

Yes I suppose if you have the permit. Achennar would be good for Imp Shielding.
Plenty of Imp systems around though, filter galmap by high tech in Imp region and you will see.

As I am a PvPer I need all the high grade materials fast. I bookmarked all the imperial shieldings and core dynamics materials etc.

I could share this information ... for a payment, ofcourse.

To clarify: Inara isn't wrong about it being found in HGE. It IS wrong, though, about "Higher chance in Outbreak system". Outbreaks are good for finding Pharmaceutical Isolators (needed for L5 dirty drive tuning at Palin's), not Imperial Shielding.

I found many imperial shielding in USS´s in Dvorsi system. I even had to throw them away ...

There were a lot of these (high grade) appearing in a system under "Expansion", not Outbreak in the "Hunt" thing over the weekend.

Any state would work just fine, except Outbreak (it adds Pharma Isolators), War and Civil War (Military Grade Alloys and Military Supercapacitors) and Civil Unrest (Improvised Components). Boom also spawns its own set of very rare materials (various Proto stuff), but it seems that chance of finding these in Imp systems is lower than in Fed, Alliance or Independent ones.
