I'm rich!

We were joking in another thread about the "Give 1,000,000,000 cr" button... I didnt know that it was already in the game...

I am not jealous - have fun with everything you CMDRs earned, but actually the reasons to do things have just gone down the drain... I spent 3 months in the void, scanning systems for a total of 60,000,000. A real good payout, i thought and i planned to do it again to earn myself a nice Orca as a personal icon of well deserved luxury, together with my first Elite status... Guess what... Its worth nothing now. Frontier manages to deliver on disappointment really good these days.

(Really, have fun with it. I recommend buying an Orca. A good ship to display the needed arrogance of filthy rich CMDRs. Be quick as with 2.2 the Orca might become usable and that would ruin the whole purpose of that ship.)

What?! Ahem:D Some folks like to have fun and look good doing it. :) I drove that Asp into the ground saving for that Orca. Arrogance indeed! XD (or however the kids do smilies these days)

I came on the forum tonight to thank all the participants for a *very* successful CG. But I read through all of this. When did salt become a bad thing?? Salt is amazing. I love salt, more so because I'm supposed to limit my intake these days. ;)

Still: Thanks to all who helped push the CG!

Despite the list of ships in my signature (and a few more) my "Apple Whale" is my baby. And the 330mil I earned probably doubled the amount of credits I've made playing this game -- equates to about 10mil per round trip. 160t at a time in my Orca. And the jump range! LOL The final amount came as a surprise to many of us.

I look forward to my Beluga. I would even give you all a ride, ya know, if I could.
Look for "Red's Apple Whale" or "Red's Caviar Dreams" at a trading CG near you. Been running them since they were added to the game, and will continue to do so.
To paraphrase Lebowski, "The 'Whale abides. The 'Whale abides."

I also have to mind my salt (stupid blood pressure). Damned thing is so delicious (especially on rare, red meat)! Also, echo the old congrats to everyone. So long as these stupendous payouts are rare I think it's kind of cool. I barely slipped in there. Got a chance to put in 3120 tonnes on the first day then went off for the weekend. At that time had no idea what the payout would be then followed, bigeyed on my iPad as it all went down.

Today I'm not as rich as I was. :(

Pondered waiting and joining the Morai Beluga Owners club but... There's no pockets in a shroud so...

Fully A spec'ed the Conda loads of pulse turrets and missiles. Now away to get the new thrusters "dirty."

Went and saw Liu-di for an Orca and "A"'d that. Parked it near my local pristine ring ready for some mining, a trip to Felicitys and then VIP's in 2.2.

Had not done a CG in months (engineering stuff) this one was local so hopped over, had a great time as it was packed with people at the station and neighbouring systems and expected to maybe get 10mill but...

Lovely lolly. Lots and lots of it. More than I have ever seen.

Enjoy your new boats/ fleet, CMDRS. Happy days!

And thank you little yellow star on the galaxy map. What a "Quality Of Life" improvement that has been!

totally 150% agree ....
To which bit exactly?
That FDev failed with this CG?
That I skipped all the steps and will make a topic about OP NPC's?
Or that FDev failed because now I have (apparently) skipped all the steps and will make a topic about OP NPC's?

;)

Can people please shut the hell up about salt? [/salt]
If people stopped bringing salt to the party, nobody would be talking about it. :>

Anyone would think that given the backlash about insta-ship transport, FDev had decided to inject some "Quantitative Easing" into the Galaxy to ensure more people have larger fleets and will thus embrace the new travel function ;)

/houseofcards logic ftw!

well i had fun, even if others didn't. 138 mil for about 15 minutes work.

Morai is the new Beta Sculptoris - loads of cash for the early birds, but it closed before the rest of the galaxy woke up

So is it a new location to make big bucks or did it close? Make up your mind.

It's ironic that games where you stuggle for resources are much more fun, and have greater longevity, than Monty Haul tropes.

(Provided that you can see you're making progress, or can understand where it all went horribly wrong...)

Heh Seeking Weapons about a minute from the station. :)

And for some reason the station supply didn't seem to drop as I remember?

It was high, but not totally ridiculous profits per run, but the thing was you could cycle it really quickly meaning credits/time was really good.

I still have a ship parked in Beta Sculptoris from back then.
