But A & B are def on the same vector

can i gather some attention towards the incident that happend where a withe cobra got the green plasma marks?

i figured out why we cant find the system yet:
remember mb said that the nebula is gonna be a different color to refect real life or something

now what is the nearest nebula that look's compleetly different real life? The pleiades:)

blue like in the 4th message
i close the case on a possible location here for now

plus 1 rep for you good sir.
MB also said it was Pleiades in the footage.

Keybuck theory involves a vector to maximize the spawn rate, however if you select an USS to resolve it, it will change your vector (not in direction, but in speed), therefore some of the tests have been conducted without resolving the signals. It is all pure statistical analysis, yes.

I can only applaud this effort, however my gut feeling is that there is a 'network' factor in here as well and USS spawning is not equal for all.
I may be biased due to only ever spawning one UP, despite many many hours of looking but that's how it feels.
Even the spawn rate of other USS types seems low.

CG has reached 5.9Mil tonnes, nearly there!

Damnit, I knew I should have done just one more run last night. I was earning some decent beer money on that!

On another note, it's a little strange that Frontier are paying out quite a lot at the moment (the Imperial CG was a big earner too). Anyone else think that they feel that very soon we may actually need heaps of cash? Because of, something coming?

Smeg.

because something happen might mean lots of rebuys perhaps

passanger cabibs as well as new fighters and the like yup i think having a nice pile of cash could be a good thing

Ok this is getting past weird.

J037-3039 - you drop in at the A star - there is a second NS which shows as unscanned by me. It is 300K LS away or so. I can select it as a supercruise or hyperspace option and its clearly the same location. If I hyperspace to it I arrive at J037-3039B and see that is canned by me and has a different 1st discoverer than the 2nd NS shown in the galaxy map from J037-3039A

A - with the BH and B

B as it shows if you jump

Note different 1st discover and different planets. B only shows inn the Nav panel.

There are probably two systems with the same coordinates. There are several other cases of that, even some in the bubble. It's due to mistakes in loading real world data.

btw if in 2.2 frontier makes some thing look like their real counterpart then the system that the incident took place in is in the pleiades nebula cause irl the pleiades are blue

Michael has confirmed that the Pleiades have been recoloured blue in 2.2.

I think the alien invasion will dive us all out of the human bubble and we will have to retreat to Jacques. We will need the cash to get some of our ships out of systems (using ship delivery). Then we will have to coordinate our efforts to free each captured system to push back the aliens and free up assests such ships we own but couldn't get out before the system was captured. (the powerplay map would be good for seeing the war progress)

or not. Lol!

I'd go with this too. It's a real binary pair so both A and B objects will be listed in the star catalogs.
So they've both been added in with the same coordinates and the rest of the systems auto-generated.

The actual difference in position is probably because A generated as a binary and the primary star is orbiting a barycentre with its secondary star.

This is completely screwy!

Tell me about it! Now I am nearly on top of B - as a hyperspace destination, A and B are no longer overlaid - NB I've rotated a bit to show them both at once, and I'm in non-linear territory again... PS I've lost track of where I am in relation to the BH - so if I vanish you know what happened
