Nice trolling FD :D

It is highly possible that we need ALL three guys clues figured out - even if one is liar, we need to figure out what he is saying in fact. It might be that all three people show different things to tell full picture.

You fools.

Kohl is a liar.
Kohl is the red herring (red trader).
Kohl spreads misdirection.
Kohl cannot be fully trusted, he may be giving some accuraries and some falsehoods.

There's 2 CG's left to to go for Dillon & Granger, FDev isn't going to let you solve it this quickly with 2 clues to go and such obvious first interpretations that Dillon is somehow the liar right from day 1.

All of you.

Fools.

Dillon asked for stuff (tobacco) delivered to station but CG never materialized and station didn't have black market. He also said some false things about other stuff. People figured out fast he is a liar.
Doesn't really explain the logic since Grangers CG never appeared either but thanks anyways.
Assuming the clues are true, it was Kohl who mentioned one of his friends lies. So taking his word for it, that means either Dillon's clue or Granger's clue is false.
Kohl's second clue excludes Dillon's clue, so he must be the liar.

Unless they are all lies of course. ;)
Ok, I figured Granger had to be telling the truth since Dillon and Kohl have conflicting clues. However if Kohl is lying, we still have a Binary system with 10 bodies in it.
If we assume there is only one liar then it must be either Kohl or Dillon because they have given conflicting info. Kohl's info is consistent with Granger's so Dillon must be the liar. The other factor is that if Kohl is the liar then we don't have enough to go on anyway so right now it's useful to believe Kohl.
That's fair. Best to be doing something than be sat doing nothing because we might be wrong lol. Really wish I could be at home taking part in this....

I've been checking systems where the AB has a space:

Pleiades sector ZO-A B2
Pleiades sector XT-A B2

and so on. Added one to the sheet, but see a note saying "This was never a candidate, it doesn't have AB in the name".

Should I stop looking for these? Is there some reason to discount them that I've missed?

Will 2.2 add Thargoids to the main-game?

Yes

Also,

  • the Formidine Rift mystery is all about < redacted > and is located in the < redacted > system
  • In Game of Thrones < redacted > dies
  • Luke Skywalker is Rea's father
  • There is another massive mystery to do with Soontil relics but you can skip the whole thing by going to the < redacted > system
  • The score in last nights match you recorded and where going to watch on catch up tonight was 3-2 to the other team

Anything else you want ruining?

If Dillon is lying then doing this CG is pointless then?

Well, you are still missing a longitude, more information to narrow down the list of possible systems and information to narrow down the possible planet/moons.
So you might already solve it with these clues (heck, you could have stumbled over it without any clues) but more will help narrowing it down.

AB-W B2-4 found a cluster of 6 occupied escape pods. No actual wrecked ship, just some old looking wreckage strewn around. - 26.9803\-108.7089. Can't see anything else notable, I'll keep looking.

I would say keep looking, I can clearly see both an 'A' and a 'B' in those names! Don't think the clue said they had to be together without a space

Any canisters? If so, and they contain fish, it might be a hint that there's more to be found nearby.
