I found it in solo; make sure you're looking at -26,97 not 26,97.
What we NEED to do, is get it to MetaDrive, before the Feds get to it, so they can finish their drive research, so I can have 100ly on my Anaconda.... #dreams
I found it in Private Group as well as open.
The alien ship is persistant, I went in solo.

It's there in Open. Not tried solo yet.
You'll need to home in on the /loc coordinates, which will take a while.
More worryingly.. That planet will be swarming with griefers soon!
Anyone prospector limpet this thing?
Tested in Mobius, the wreckage was there. Sadly the ED client crashed and I was unable to rejoin the instance full of commanders, ending up in an empty instance.
Oh well. Tested with some weapons:
Light multicannons - zero effect.
Medium pulse lasers, one with Scramble Spectrum - zero effect.
From observing SRVs, it seems that their weapons don't do anything either.
