Yea it kinda looks biological, like the ship was ''grown'' and not built. Similar composition to the UA and maybe even from the same race......or maybe from a similar race that split from the Thargoids thousands of years ago.

Not sure how it came into being but I think the Imps and Patreus are well aware of it.

The iris in the human eye is used to controll the amount of light that enters.
That could be the same mechanism they use to control the trust or plasma flow or whatever they use as propellant flow

I really hope there is some backstory to provide the connection between the UP/UA/Barnacle, and these ships / creatures if they are related. I'd really like to know what those things are actually for.

Used 4 different EMP recordings (from Pleiades Sector IR-W D1-55 6) matched them, converter to mono and sampled them together.

right panel enhences some kind of 2D grid seen from ~30° angle ?

We should probably try and take a up/ua there!, I'm on my way to pick up a probe to take it over(But i lack CRCR and am pretty bad at keeping track of tests)

Looks pretty much like a small thargoid ship to me too.
Eight facets surrounding a circular central plate.
Awesome!

Thats the thing, it looks like an "unmanned" bioship. not thargoid. just because it has 8 sides everyone assumes its thargoid.. what if its a living creature like some kind of space starfish. Its not giving off any reading on the scanner and isnt targettable, has no obvious life quarters and i couldnt see any propulsion drives.

Maybe it is one of the Space Creatures that just roams the Cosmos and died here. DB hinted at such creatures a long time ago.

So Let do what humans do and track them down, hunt them to extinction and eat them :D
