So I took a mission to deliver 84T of Bertrandite to Soddy Hangar in Zugen for about CR398000. Flew out there and nobody was accepting the mission. Logged out and in, no help. Restarted comp and logged back in, no help. Had to log for the night so figured I'd get it sorted today. Had to work late and when I logged in I had 2 minutes to complete mission. Still, nobody on mission board wanted to complete my mission. Failed. Got fined. No big deal, I have CR, figured I'd just sell the goods to offset my loss. Commodities board didn't show my Bertrandite even though my hold is 84T full of goods and in my inventory tab it shows 84T of Bertrandite. Transaction tab shows my fine and the mission fail, so I dismissed the mission fail. Now my cargo is Illicit Cargo. What am I supposed to do with this 84T of illicit Bertrandite? Don't want to file a help ticket, I just want to get rid of this cargo and maybe get some CR for it to offset the loss.

File a help ticket so no one else picks up the same issue.
Also I've always got illicit cargo onboard. Don't sweat it just flog it.
But make sure you get a good price. Try to find a BM in a boom system which deals with Bertrandite or you won't get top dollar.
Fencing stolen property is just as the same as selling normal goods.

Are you sure you were in the right place? Did the station have a mission icon over it in system map?
If yes, did the mission rewards contain commodities? If so, you won't be able to turn the mission in unless you have space for rewards.
The rest has been already said - the cargo is marked stolen, so you have to find a black market to sell it. (it can be found under Contacts in station menu)

You can turn in a mission with commodities reward, you just don't get the commodity reward if you don't have room. They fixed that glitch in an earlier update.
Problem solved. I took the illicit goods to a nearby black market and sold it for 96K. Bought 96T of commodities and sold them for a profit at the original system. Then took 2 missions from the same cats that gave me the bugged mission to mine cobalt. Cobalt was available on the commodities market so bought them and handed them in for 500k. Paid my fine and ended up with a profit, not to mention, I'm now at Broker. Thanks for all the help, CMDRs, yall are the best.
