So UA bombing just got nerfed.

Good, good. :)

Finally the 1-hour-of-work-worth UA bombing can be countered without 200 hours of work

I would be fine with this as long as 1 hour of UA bombing work is countered by 1 hour of fixing it. It 200 hrs has gone to 'just' 100 hours then it is still          :)

I've never done it but after learning about it form people who have done it its well more north of an hour. It took a shady character 2 weeks for effects to take effect.

if you really think the act and the counter act were ever balanced, you clearly need to know how it works. Did you just compared the numbers of UA/UP and number of Meta-alloys required, or the effort comparison on getting any of them?

What is the ratio of people running the missions compared to the number of "you aren't playing the game right UA crybabies"? 100 to 1?

So returning form your Sothis run with a hold full of MA will not only slow the malfunctioning process... but could stop it entirely if almost every space-trucker brings back MA.

Works for me.

Brilliant game design. Space truckers keep the UA bomber scrubs busy.

I've helped repair several stations... I made 4 trips to Jaques. I know how it works.

Agreed. I would even be fine if 1 hour bombing had to be countered by 10 hours of work.

But the current state, where three people were able to disable the station in an afternoon, and it took a week long coordinated effort of dozens of people to bring it back online is really stupid.
I don't like the word "griefing" but when messing up other people's game is made THAT easy, one can't be even surprised that someone uses it for chuckles.

Really glad about this. It would be nice if UA were out by jaques station only. That way these "interesting" players can get stuck out there. Imagine if a bunch of idiots bombed Jaques station?

Lol outstanding news. I would have been more sympathetic to the Ceos UA bombers had it not been for their hypocritical and smug attitudes. They profited off Ceos/Sothis then didn't want anyone else having the same toys. Not only did they just draw attention to Sothis they can take credit for gimping UA bombing. Good work gents :)

It is a rather hilarious development.

That and I think that CGs possibly getting interrupted had some thing to do with it too.

For me its a bit of a sticking point. One of the most interesting things to happen in the game happened due to UA bombing. It was basically player created content that gave me a month and a half of playing time to sink my teeth into and now it seems like player agency and emergent gameplay will likely be taking a backseat in the future.
