If I had to guess, I would say that the Devs will be soon looking at Crime and Punishment. As part of that...I got to thinking about how every station and outpost is blatently obvious. Given that pirates can even get battlecruisers, they *must* have some stations of their own...so where are they?
So, what if there were "hidden" pirate stations, by that I mean they would be hidden in rings, astroid belts, etc to avoid being discovered, and once you gained enough pirate reputation, the coordinates would be "unlocked".
Now, they could of course be discovered by regular players noticing low wakes in SC, but that would be half the fun (and smart bounty hunters might look for these locations, as they would essentially be combat zones, where they very well might be the only "green" ship, and the chance for finding player bounties would go up).
This would give pirate players a semi-safe haven to get repairs, rearm, etc, if the lawful stations start denying access to high-notoriety pirates.
