@OP have a look at the groups subforum. there are many imperial groups around, to all liking. great trading groups like the east india company, amazing combat wings like Lavigny's Legion ... i'm positive there is even an imperial explorer group outhere, exploring to bask in her glory...
... and don't join the slavers!

Thanks, Truesilver -- actually I am more of a BGS player than powerplay, which is why I'm glad people have pointed out lists -- probably the majority of groups don't match my play-style.
I'm not sure what you heard about us, but pirates? Rebels?

We just had differences with a specific PP-group because they didn't liked our way and our government
So don't believe 'em
We have traders, explorers, BGS players. The only thing is, since this dispute we are no longer active PP-players =P
If you like please check out the Chapterhouse of Inquisition - we're an Imperial group of Arissa Lavigny-Duval supporters who promote the patronage & feudal governments of the Empire (this is in order to assist in Powerplay mechanics by reducing Fortification Triggers - however ongoing direct involvement in PP is not mandatory to achieve this aim).
We are a freeform group without a traditional hierarchical leadership structure: Inquisitors step forward and Declare themselves to us - we all operate as independent commanders linked together by common bonds of fealty to the Emperor, with some members maintaining fixed "Tribunals" (Control Spheres specifically targeted for regime change), and other acting as "Itinerants" who provide support where and when it is needed.
Inquisitorial work involves manipulating government types so that patronage and feudal governments rise to power, and those that we see as traitorous (such as dictatorship and corporate governments) are pushed aside.
(OOC: we are a background sim group that works together to cause governments to rise and fall. Many of our members are involved in organizing efforts for the wider Arissa-Lavigny Duval community. We allow our members to join us whilst retaining membership of other groups [we have members from Lavigny's Legion and the 9th Legion to name a few]. We are primarily PvE focused.)
