The Gravitational Lensing effects around moving Neutrons and White Dwarf are Awesome

So before my unfortunate accident yesterday I saw a beautiful thing.
Yes, I already knew in the game that Black Holes cause lensing effects but I didn't know this could be observed around Neutron stars and (especially) White Dwarf stars (I was always too scared to move around them - once scanned I'd turn tail and run)
But earlier yesterday, after scanning a White Dwarf, I actually looked up when running (to have a look at the star) and I saw the goddam stars bending around it. Wow, just Wow:O. Latterly, after I had picked my jaw up, I found out that Neutrons have the same effect only much smaller.

If anyone has got footage of this Lensing effect, it would be appreciated if you could donate your footage (of this effect) to this thread as I suspect this will make make other Commanders jaws drop and go Wow, just Wow (slow hand clap).

PS, the reason that I can't post moving images is that I don't know how and I am stuck in Ray Gateway awaiting the results off my Ticket submission anyways.

I'm currently in a system with three black holes; two are in orbit around each other. The lensing between them is nice, I'll post it tomorrow (I'm working nights).
The other black hole is within scooping distance of the giant O class star there too.
Here's a map of the system if you want to check it out. It's only a couple of hundred LY from Sol

In my early travels pre ADS - when spotting system bodies by parallax my first encounter with a BH had me somewhat perplexed , hold on a mo' there's some bodies but hold on there's some and there's some and they all look the same but flipped - arggh there's nothing there what's going on??????

Until it dawned on me what I was witnessing.

I want to know when we are going to get a trippy space kaleidoscope system for tourists to visit, maybe to be viewed from Milliways!

You got you're own channel Bongo... nice, didn't know that. The choice of theme music - Kingdom of Heaven is epic (such an underatted film). I'll get to a black hole soon enough.
But until I've seen a black hole, a White dwarf will do me nicely. just pity that I've got no footage of me doing a hot dog past one [sad]

PS Hot D.g.ing is banned on this site....... Damn, the opportunities for double entendres would have been classic.... damn damnn.

There is something wrong there, you were at only 0.2 Ls from a black hole (37,256.5 miles)!, you should be swallowed by the gravity! goodbye science in ED! :x

There's a black hole in the Algenib and Maia systems. Very close to the bubble. The Algenib system is not inhabited and the black hole is 100,000ls out so its not going to jump you and say "boo"

Yesterday I was orbiting Sag* until my ship took a hissy fit and blew up on it's own violation. Now stuck at Ray Gateway, not daring to move until my Ticket gets sorted one way or the other. So for the next 72hours (64 now) I am going to annoy the hell out of everyone with my silly jokes..... See that Guy over there - He got burned big style.
Don't test me or else. (64.5 hours from now).
