Just checked...13 weeks, 3 days, 22 hours, 37 minutes. I'm just a shadow of my former self. (burnt out to a crisp)
Pretty much a 'retired' pilot' for the last month or so, currently staying at the Rehabilitation centre in Founders world....(at least the nurses are nice! :x ).

Actually the bit about the Rehabilitation Centre isn't true, I'm currently at my 'home' system, taking a break from Elite, I pop in now and again to do the odd mission, but 'real life' is now the more usual 'gameplay'.
Side note...
My 'Home System' is towards the outer edge of the bubble, usually not much 'traffic' here (about 20 ships per 24 hrs. sometimes less)...just noticed (as I checked my game time) it's jumped up to around 200 ships...due to a CG that's appeared about 40 odd ly's away!

Wouldn't say I'm addicted as I have set it down for stretches, but i signed up maybe 17 months ago and am getting very close to the 1000 hour mark.

But, in the last 3-6 months, really very little.
Having played a bit of 'a.n.other' game recently, massively improving exploration (e.g. EVA, FPS exploring of long-abandoned alien ruins to search for tech blue-prints and artefacts) would bring me back in a big hurry.
For the first time, I may try to avoid the beta (of 2.2) and save my energies for the release.
But, in the last 3-6 months, really very little.

I don't think I've every played any game for as long as I've played elite. In game counter is just under 7 weeks...
I don't have as much time in as most, still it's a week and a half according to my in game time. Add in my second account it's a little over 2 weeks
I think I was up to 750 hours in Falcon 4.0 about a year after it's release, so including all of the iBeta's, eFalcons, ViperOps, BMS, Allide Force, OpenFalcon, BMS (again) gawd knows how many hours I sunk into that. EF2000 was also great, shame about the lack of ground war.
E: D? Think I passed 1370 hours recently. Which puts any moaning I do at Frontier about bad design decisions into perspective.

So, our time before reset isn't counted? I thought it was tied to our account and not our CMDR. Interesting. I wonder if Steam time also resets.
Steam time will only reset if you uninstall and reinstall IIRC.
