Help wanted!

Ok so I waited eagerly for beta, played the combat scenarios and thought yeah this is looking good - then got beta and couldn't figure out what to do... I guess I made all the usual rookie mistakes.... but without any sort of proper help in the game how are you supposed to know? Perhaps there is some documentation somewhere I am missing - but when you hit "help" you should get some basics like..

how to request docking permission
how to find your landing pad and land on it
how to jump to another star system and find / travel too a space station
how to eject when about to blow up
how to reset saved game when broke

Perhaps I miss something - but I guess I am not alone in asking for just a little help..

You can't eject btw. You reset the game by clearing stats in the multiplayer menu section

Yes we must recognize that a user manuel a little developed would be useful. While waiting, there are the videos on You tube and the threads on the forums

I think the website needs to offer this in the form of some sort of blog system. I know there are probably other priorities atm but in fairness to people starting off finding the info they require is a bit of a trawl as it stands.
