We were sat in the back docking bay(?) waiting for a respawn...

The last thing I remember doing was slowly nudging up to your cockpit as you were inverted above me and then all hell broke loose. My ship started jumping about wildly and the docking bay seemed to be caving in around me. It was crazy. I tried to fly out of the bay we were in but I hit the crazily spinning walls and exploded. It was hilarious! I was crying laughing.

What the hell happened to me from your point of view?

It wasn't me, but it sounds like you got hit by the multiple Impeccables bug. I had a similar experience in Alpha 3, I was lucky enough to get out to see two dreadnaughts spinning through each other

That's possible but the only time I've seen that happen the two ships were out of line with each other. It could have been that but my ship starting going mental as soon as our two cockpits (fnarr) touched.
