Does Frontier has Q/A testers for ED?

Personally I don't think they do with how bug ridden this game is.

How would these testers let these version of the game see the light of day?

No, they don't, as proven by the fact that nearly everything broken at launch is still broken and they continuously break ever more crap.
They might as well not even have their beta phases for all the effort and time they put into them.
